Before I book a flight on American Airlines for late September/early October I thought I'd check with the experts to make sure there are no rumors of strikes or anything like that possibly going to happen that would affect my trip this fall. Just looking for some re-assurance. I'm booking for 6 people and would feel terrible if the plans I make fell through.

I fly American regularly (at least until they finish the latest gutting of their St. Louis schedule by this summer) and have no knowledge of any specific issues that would make booking AA for this fall any more or less risky than booking anyone else.
