American Airlines question

I hope to book our Washington/Dulles - Albuquerque flight at the end of the week. It looks like American Airlines has the best fares and the routing is good for us too. What are your experiences with American? Good? Bad? Just Okay?

Don't have much experience with them, but that is what we flew to Hawaii last summer, and it was fine. (Trip was arranged/paid for by my work, so I didn't have a choice)

I frequently fly Delta, being near Cincinnati and most of their flights stop here anyway!

We flew American to Hawaii too (in November) and on the way home we took Delta and I thought American was much better. The seats were more spread out, movie screen was better (in Delta they had those tiny overhead ones every few rows, so during our redeye flight home it was staring me and my daughter directly in the face), and the food was better. (We were in 1st class though since it was such a long flight, but I assume the same applies to coach, which is what we normally fly and I hate Delta's coach, it's so packed in.) Also American had power ports in the seat so we could keep the laptop plugged in the whole flight (you need a special adapter for that though). We're taking them again in May to DL.

We have flown American many times. They are usually on time or early getting to your destination. Planes are clean, attendant accomodating.
