American Airlines checked baggage fees.

I see that it's 15$ for the first one, and 20$ for the second one. Does that mean each person can bring one checked luggage at 15$/per luggage, or does that mean only one per group at that price? I'm going to bring 2-3 checked luggages, and I was just wondering how the pricing will go.

Any airline with fees for checked bags charges those fees per ticketed passenger.

If there are four passengers booked together, the first four bags pay the "first bag" fee.

The bag fees are per passenger. So my DH and I each get 1 checked bag for $15 each.

Just a friendly FYI: American Airlines upped the fee to $20. for the first bag and $25. for the second bag checked for all air purchased on or after August 14th. Oh joy, right!
