This is a must do for me every trip. I love the pride I feel in our country as I watch this show and how far we have come as a nation in a relatively short period of time. Over the 12 years we have been visiting with our kids, now 16 and 14, they have napped, rested, taken a much needed break in a cool auditorium, they have enjoyed it...at times, and now just humor mom

I still manage to get choked up at the end after all these years. We visited in October just after the 9/11 tragedy, and the entire auditorium cheered, clapped and cried...it was a very special experience for us all.

Even if you never see it again, I would take the time to see it at least once

Thanks to everyone! It's nowon our list. I told DD6 about it and she wants to see it. Maybe DD2 will actually nap! And on a hot, August day, it will be a welcomed break out of the heat! I'm excited to experience something new!

When you get back in August...let us know how you felt about it. Personally, I think it is the best thing Disney has ever done, but that is just my opinion. I would like to hear how, if any, others differ from my observation. Have a good time.

Consider heading back to AA early (before the kids are tired) and taking in the Drum Corps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTgQosUSFN4, Voices of America, show and maybe some of the museum. I believe the Drum Corps still hangs around for pictures at the very end of the show.

It is a MUST SEE on every trip for us. And as others have noted, it's hard not to have a little case of moist eyes at the end of the show.

I'm with the others that get choked up at the very end. No matter how many times I've seen it, I still get misty. Just can't help it.
