Here's some info on this space that WDW likes to keep quiet about

American Adventure Parlor
Venue rental is $200+tax.
Access to the area is by elevator. If there is another function taking place in the American Adventure Rotunda, the Parlor group will use the exterior entrance to the elevator.
No food and beverage is set up in the lower sitting area ("Living Room" area).
There is no ramp access to the sitting area.
No action station cooking is allowed. Meal service is either plated or standard buffet.
If more than 40 guests and having a buffet, the actual buffet will be set up in the foyer area/outside of the dining room.
Food & Beverage minimums...Breakfast/Lunch $2,450++. After 2:00: $3,000++
Maximum of 50 guests if using rounds of 10 and no entertainment. Entertainment options may decrease the capacity.
Available any time of the day (no restrictions since it is a private area not affecting park guests)

Thanks Sarah!

That's great information to have! I've been trying to make some early decisions on the where's of the who shindig....

That brings back so many happy memories. I had my reception there. The rooms are stunning. It overlooks the lagoon, and is a great place to watch the fireworks.
I have noticed that it isn't talked about too much on here, but honestly it is just beautiful. If you're thinking of a park setting, look into the AA parlour.

Why do they like to keep it quiet? It looks like a great little space.

They don't keep it that quiet if you ask about other options. We spoke to our coordinator about it and they shared a lot of information.

Just remember - the fees can change from year to year (ok month to month).

Chipscinderelly, oh, gosh, your comment had me laughing out loud! Truer words were never spoken. ;)

Sarah_n_brian2006, thanks for posting the information and photos of the venue.

Janine, your photos of the venue were lovely. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time.

Ladies & gentlemen, I know of another person who used that venue for a surprise vow renewal last year. He told me that it worked out well. Yes, I did say "he." He's actually a Dis'er and he spent months planning the surprise for his wife. What a guy, ~sigh.~. My husband should take lessons from him. ;)
