America West.. Is it good?

Has anyone taken America West before? I have never flew with this airline and would like to know about its quality and safety records. Thanks.

We flew to New Orleans on America West last Nov. and we will never fly with them again. The changed our flight from one airport that was 5 miles away to and airport that was 45 miles away and didn't offer anything for the inconvience. Then when we took the flight it was running late, not the airlines fault it was foggy, but it was the lines fault that we had to run from one terminal to another because of our connecting flight that we were told we would make in plenty of time was already boarding. Never ever again will we fly AW.
