Has anyone done the fork and movie at the AMC at Down Town Disney? Was it expensive, food ok. We are thinking of seeing Frozen 3D on the 31st when we are there and they only have the 3D with the dinner.
Our local movies in Cody Wy will not show Disney in 3D for some reason. If we want it have to drive 100 miles. We loved Frozen and want to see it in 3D .

Thanks for the help

Did it with my wife and brother. It was great. Better food than at most of the places I ate at in WDW. Good service, comfy chairs. I am somebody who likes to sit down with a meal and watch a movie at home so this was perfect.

Here we always go to Showcase Cinemas Lux Level which is 21 and up. You have big seats that recline, little tables and table service to order drinks and food. Its a separate balcony section from the rest of the seats.

We were at WDW over Thanksgiving weekend and went to F&K at DTD to see Frozen opening weekend. I wasnt that impressed really. First off the food was absolutely terrible. The chairs we had were basically really nice swivel office chairs, that rolled around.

Service was good though.

Its a pretty weird lay out. Not quite stadium seating. Also with that many people eating all at once it is a lot of silverware clanking through the whole movie.

Lets just say I wouldnt do it again. There are so many awesome restaurants at DTD that I would do dinner and then go see the movie in a regular AMC theater there.

yes, loved it, 4 of us went, we all had different food & thought it was great. be sure to bring a small flashlight, or you will not be able to see where you put your catsup :rotfl2: during the movie.
also, reserve your chairs ahead of time! there is a menu to look at online
movie was $14.pp, average cost , I guess, food also not expensive, BIG selection. you place your order at beginning & tell them at what point in the movie you would like each item served. I really thought it would be a major detraction, but felt it was not.

We saw Frozen there over Thanksgiving. We reserved seats ahead of time and were glad we did because the theater was full. Seats were comfy with lots of leg room. Food was better then expected. They had drinks too :thumbsup2 The waitress told us they do try and get all food ordered and to the table before the movie starts to limit movie distractions. There is a button to push to call for service during the film is you need something. I don't remember hearing tons of food eating noise. Honestly I do not remember many more distractions then you would have in a normal film geared towards kids. But then again it was a good film :goodvibes

Well we did it, saw Frozen and what a neat experience that was. No the chairs were not office chairs, they were very nice normal rocking movies chairs. It was not noisy with silverware clanging or anything like that. It was an experience that we loved. We met two of our friends that live in the area and they are very big Disney people and they had never done that with the dinner. They loved it and are planning to go and see more. Our DD13 already has that planned for our next trip there.

The food was very good. Better that I was expecting. On par with places like the Rain Forest and such.

If you have never done it try it at least once.

You need to go direct to the theater or book online with Fandango.

I forgot to say there is a button on the table if you need anything press it and your server will come to you. Free refills on popcorn and soda and you don't need to miss any of the movie it is brought to you.
