With all the talk of Honeymoons, Anniversaries, Candles (NOT!!!), etc... I thought it would be great to start a topic here of Romantic Ambiance in the cabins!! Okay, we will be traveling with our five year old, but Hey!!! Surely some of you guys can share some of your 'private' experiences and ideas!
You know what is just as great as candles.... we have a lamp with a 25watt red colored light bulb... What a romantic glow!! Wonder if you could just bring a bulb like this and put it in one of the lights by the bed? And, the small plug-in candles would be great if you had the special little bulbs that actually 'flickers'!
How about music??? what kind of music, and or music player is available in the staterooms onboard?? Soft music would also be great for masking exterior noise, or for 'background' music, especially if, like us, we will be right across a curtain from a sleeping five year old!!! Would we have to bring something to play our favorite music on?
Love the ideas on the fragances/fresheners. I too would not want to be spraying all the mist and fumes of the spray kind. Seems like the plug-ins would be great! Or would they be too much in the small space? (A tip for us 'sensitive' folks... may want to try that special new fragrance out once beforehand to make sure it won't bother you!!)
Especially if you have a verandah, then I LOVE the idea of bringing a coffee maker and gourmet coffee. (would we need a power strip to plug stuff like this in???) We too like our gourmet coffee. And, after a late evening of romance, having that hot cup of coffee waiting for you first thing the next morning (Thanks to DH who ALWAYS wakes up first and hits that on button, bless his heart!!) Well, to me that can't be beat....
