Hi, guys. I've continued to be WAY off track lately and have been too ashamed to log on and tell you guys
I weighed Friday and was up 3 pounds
but I have not exercised in forever and have been eating like a PIG!
TOM hit yesterday though, so that could be a lot of it.
Yesterday DH's friends were here so we had lots of yummy food, but it wasn't particularly healthy. Dinner wasn't too bad though - roasted chicken, black eyed peas, corn on the cob, mashed potatos, cornbread. It was all the snacky stuff that I had to go with it
I went shopping for a bit yesterday afternoon, so at least I got off my tush and walked around a little. I bought some glow stick necklaces for our trip to Disney and some other fun stuff from the dollar section at Michael's to give to DH's friends kids when they go to Disney at Thanksgiving. It was fun to get out and wander around the stores some. I am not a major shopper but I go through my phases and I LOVE a bargain
Today we got up REALLY late! Then I was still really tired and was craving a big ole IHOP breakfast! So, I convinced DH to take me there. I was BAD and had my favorite.... chocolate chip pancakes!!
YUM!! with grits, eggs and sausage... but the only thing I finished was the pancakes. And lots of coffee of course
When we got home I did convince DH to go for a "stroll" with me since it is nice and overcast here today. We went and did two laps around the lake. Not much, but better than nothing I guess.
I know that I have gotten myself into a jam lately. I have gotten out of the habit of exercising and I'm really drained and tired ALL the time. I know that if I would exercise then I would feel better, but I'm too tired to want to exercise. Then it gets to be a cycle
But, I know I have to do better. If I don't then I'm gonna be pretty miserable when it comes time to do all that walking at Disney!!
So, tonight we are having red beans and rice. We have leftover spaghetti, chicken curry w/ lentils, and chicken and sides from last night. That should take care of most of our dinners this week. They are all mostly healthy also (all the mashed potatos are gone
) Now, I just have to eat good lunches, not go out for coffee treats, AND exercise at least a few times this week!!
I know that I am capable of getting back on track!!! I think this week I don't have too crazy of a schedule
(I hope) So I should be able to get some exercise in!! WISH me luck!
