it was either target or walmart but one of them previously shipped me both a multi pack of paper towels with just a label slapped on the side as well as one of those 30 pound buckets of cat litter. i WISH chewy would just slap labels on their cat litter buckets b/c 50% of the time the ones they send me boxed arrive broken (if they were just labeled the shipping people could just used the handles and avoid dropping).
Well before the pandemic, I learned that buying pantry items, is so much cheaper than NYC prices. One can of chick peas is about $2 per can here. Whereas the Walmart brand is $0.59 per can. Shipping is free over $35. So, I usually stock up and get a variety of supplies. Then they arrive in 5-6 HUGE boxes, with only a few items in each box and stuffed with plastic bags of air to fill in the empty space. And they arrive over several days, instead of 1 or 2 days.
They break the other bags of air and fling around the box during transit. I've gotten a few boxes that look like a traveling circus ran over them and the boxes are barely holding together by what little tape there is.
And many of the cans are dented by each other.
