Absolutely worth it! The two day shipping alone is fabulous! The instant videos and kindle borrowers library is just gravy.

Not sure if it's different because I'm in the UK, but I LOVE Amazon Prime. Not only are the prices pretty good but also the free shipping is speedy and efficient! Here, it is 1 day delivery, which I love. I just decided to get some more gifts for Xmas and Amazon Prime not only had the best prices, but I'm getting it delivered right on time at Xmas eve! No other online shop would do that unless I payed the really high shipping fees... Whereas with Prime, it's all free.

We have it and YES, it is definitely worth it - so long as you order once a month or more. You will learn to shop Amazon first and last - and then buy from Amazin! HAHA

It's paid for itself in Christmas shopping shipping savings alone this year. Love that it shows up at my door 1 or 2 days after I order it.

Yes, absolutely--if you order a lot online, the shipping adds up quickly. It was especially helpful when I was a grad student and was ordering dozens of books--one less charge to worry about was awesome!

YES! We do a lot of our shopping from Amazon. I also have the Amazon app on my phone so when I am out I can scan items to see how much Amazon has them for before I buy.

It is a subscription service I happily pay for! I more than make-out with shipping savings, then with free movies, I'm saving hundreds of dollars!!

But then again, I tend towards procrastination when ordering gifts through the year. I'm all right for Christmas, but not birthdays or other holidays. The 2-day shipping is wonderful.

We've recently started using the movie/TV streaming, and that's been great as well. But it's the free 2-day shipping we love!

They gave it to me FREE after I made 3 orders in a week this month. It is awesome. I've never paid for it though. The last time I got it free also. It expires for me in a few weeks.

I love it! I received it as a gift for Christmas this year (got it early so I got free shipping on all the xmas presents I ordered) after my free prime through Amazon Mom expired. It is especially useful if you think outside the box and don't just use it for big items. For example, need some pasta? Dog treats? Pens? I buy a lot off of Amazon! I figured it saves me time and money as I am not going to the regular store for some of these items and then coming out with ten other things that I don't really need. (Just watch prices as Amazon isn't always better.) I love that everything arrives within 2 days (sometimes it comes the next day.)

A warning, however. It has changed the way I shop to some extent. For example for Christmas, if the item wasn't on amazon with prime shipping, I didn't order it! (Minus the Disney store since I had a big enough order for free shipping!) I can't imagine paying shipping costs or waiting a week for something to arrive! So Amazon Prime has spoiled me!!!!

Yes, I love Amazon Prime, and I do pay for it - happily! I recently got a Kindle Fire and now can watch movies whereever there is wifi and there's some good movies for free with Prime. We take advantage of the monthly Kindle lending library too, might as well!

We have a DD in college - and we LOVE prime. It is great for "stuff", but on those emergency things...DD's cheap chair broke - and I "primed" one to her with paying an upcharge for overnight shipping. The upcharge - for a box my DD estimated to be 30 pounds was a whopping $3.95.

Yep - we are big 'prime' lovers.

We've had it for 3 years and it's worth every cent. We did Shop Runner for a year and didn't renew that. I find that when they do things really cheap that's when I save the most. I got several nice art sets (normally $20) on clearance for $3 last year. I grabbed them and stocked my gift closet. If I had to spend $25 to get super saver shipping it would cut my ordering down. My printer ink is cheaper, and I've gotten lots of little things for a great price. Plus to upgrade to overnight shipping is only $3.99 or so, and I've had to do that a couple of times when I have run out of ink.

Lately if I am not in a hurry for something I choose the longer shipping time and get the credit to rent movies, we have a nice little egg built up there

I've just signed up for the free trial since DH is getting a Kindle for Christmas and you guys have given great ideas on things to look for to make it really pay off - I never thought about things like printer ink!
