Please clarify if you have to be there to accept orders from either. We have ordered a day or two ahead from regular Amazon to our resort but have not used the Prime Now. We have never used Insta Cart. We plan on placing a small order for water when we arrive on March 6th. Does this get delivered to Bell Services by both Amazon and Insta Cart? Or does it actually come to your room/building? Do you need to be there to accept delivery or can you just stop by and pick it up or have Bell Services deliver when you are back to your room? I would prefer to have it delivered to Bell Services so we are not waiting around. Thanks for the help.

I *believe* you only have to be there if it includes alcohol. We have had amazon prime now leave at Bell Services at Bay Lake. The one time we used instacart we had alcohol so had to meet in lobby.

Florida water tastes like sulfur. I also hate single use plastics, but when I go to Florida I buy a few gallons of water and use that to fill bottles.
Hmm interesting. We’re from Maryland and thought the water tasted fine.

Can I ask why you’re ordering water, rather than using reusable water bottles?

We like to have water in the fridge in the room. We usually all take a bottle into the park. My husband will refill his. My son and I will get water at the counter service walk ups or with meals. I really don't like to mess with our own bottles on trips and washing them out and stuff.

We are from MD too and Magic Kingdom water has NEVER tasted good to me. I can't drink it in restaurants there. The other parks it tastes fine. I have been going to Disney since the early 80's and MK water is terrible. We do recycle our bottles at Disney just like we do at home.

You can also buy water in the gift shop.. just saying.
We use instacart at home, its really great but if all you need is water bottles get it in the store on property.

$3.49 vs $7.99 so not quite 1000%.
With delivery services you have order minimums, tips, delivery fees from the company its coming from and the resort. If all you need is water why not just get it from Disney.... and its name brand
( Dasani).
Instacart has the same case of water from Target 4.99,
Amazon prime now has is for 4.48

Exactly.

Prime Now and Instacart do have minimums I believe, like others have mentioned. Also, I'm not sure if it's been enforced or not, but I thought Disney was trying to do away with holding your groceries for you at Bell Services and that you would have to meet them regardless if you ordered alcohol or not. I know unless you use a certain company that's true for strollers and ECV's so not sure about groceries, but I would try to look a little more into it before ordering just in case. Also, if you truly only want to order water then you may be better off just getting it at the gift shop. We always order enough for the minimum for quick breakfast items, water, juice and a few snacks for the kids to save a little bit of money in the parks, but if you don't want anything else then you'll probably wind up spending more money ordering it over buying in Disney.

With Prime Now, does it matter if the item you order is fulfilled through Amazon or Wholefoods to get it delivered to a resort?

If I remember right, they are different stops. Whole Foods literally goes to the store to get it, while Amazon comes from their warehouse. I think there are 2 delivery charges if you order from both. Check to make sure, though.

Really helpful - thank you!!

Only because I've priced them out, you'll save $2/case going through prime now rather than buying it from Disney. Whole foods has cases for 3.50 (I plugged in 4 cases), $15 total. They "suggested"a $5 tip, plus $5 delivery fee--there is a minimum order for free delivery, but if you want a few cases of water, it'll cost you $5 in delivery. Grand total $24 for 4 cases (24 bottles each) of water. All in all, not too much of a price difference, as long as the resorts are still carrying cases of water. I thought I had read in another thread that the resorts were no longer selling cases of water though? Or are they selling the smaller 12 bottle mini-cases for $8? Not trying to confuse the issue, but that's why I started looking for options for delivery for cases of water. I'm all about splurging on vacation, but I want to splurge on what I want to splurge on, not blow $$ on things that can be gotten a bit cheaper elsewhere with minimal effort on my end, KWIM? There's a difference between paying an extra $2 for a full case of water and that same case costing you $16...

I'm picky about my bottled water, dasani from the gift shop is not going to cut it.

No, they have not tried to limit/stop that. What they did do is add a $6 charge to have Bell Services deliver your order to your room. But they don't discourage you from having them store your order. And if you pick it up yourself from Bell Services, no charge.

And that you would have to meet them regardless if you ordered alcohol or not.

Some Delivery Services insist you meet the drivers if you have alcohol, but not all. And that's there thing not Bell Services.
