Amazon Prime Now - multiple packages????

I planned to use Amazon Prime Now for majority of our grocery delivery for our upcoming trip. Now that Disney is charging $5 per package delivery, I don't want to end up with many packages and a huge fee. I plan to get refrigerated items and multiple cases of water, among other things, delivered to our resort. Does anyone know if Amazon Prime Now deliveries arrive in multiple packages? Does Amazon try to fit as much in a box as they can, like Prime Pantry, or do they put one item in a small box?

There is no charge for Prime Now since they are hand delivered to the front desk and not mailed. I saw some being delivered last year when we were at The Poly and they came in paper grocery bags, not boxes.

What is the difference in Prime Now from the Pantry? I guess I need to look into this.

Prime Now will deliver same day in certain cities. Orlando is one of those cities. Unlike Pantry, there is no delivery fee and everything doesn't have to be put into one box. All sorts of items are included, not just grocery and household. Almost seems too good to be true.

I used prime now end of january and had delivered to VGF. No issues at all and I didn't get a bill from Disney for accepting the delivery.

We used them in September at AKL - Jambo and while Amazon Prime was awesome about it Disney wasn't so much. We could see the bags on the counter and bell service was 100% sure they didn't have the bag even though Prime said it was delivered. Concierge sent me to bell services and then bell services tried to send me to concierge until I said oh there are some Amazon bags right there with my name on them I bet those are it. It was probably just the bell service CMs and not a resort wide issue since it wasn't the only service issue we had at AKL that week.

Just adding Amazon Prime Now does not try to put it in as few bags as possible. I order from them 2 or 3 times a week at home and I can order 10 small items and get 7 standard brown paper bags even though all 10 items could have fit in 1 bag. I wrote Amazon about it because it is so wasteful but they said they fill bags based on the isle of the warehouse they are in so if all 10 items are spread across the warehouse you could end up with 10 bags. It is kind of frustrating but I just recycle the bags because the convenience is worth it.

That sounds awesome! We will do this for our May trip :)

For water, it is a lot easier to bring one of the Brita sports bottles with a filter (like the one I linked below) and use those instead of buying cases of water. They get rid of the gross Florida water taste, you can refill them at will, and you can reuse them trip after trip. One filter is equivalent to approximately 300 16.9 oz plastic bottles of water. It ultimately ends up being a lot cheaper too.
