Amazon Prime Now at WDW

I use Prime Now all the time for NYC if my kids need something delivered quickly. We live in Texas and since they moved to NY and they left their cars here, it's so much easier to get stuff to them quickly. I'm hoping to use it in a couple of weeks for our trip. We're doing a split stay between BWV and OKW. I already checked what items they carry and pricing is very reasonable. Although we're gonna have a rental car, if price is the same, I'd rather spend my time by the pool instead of at Walmart. I found the resort addresses, my question is, at BE, do they deliver to Bell Services or to the Convention Center? At OKW, would they deliver to our building? Anyone tried it before?

We had ours delivered at Wilderness Lodge for our VWL stay. It worked out really well. I did remember reading something about the resorts that have a convention center. Seems like there was an additional fee for delivery at those resorts. Hopefully someone can direct you to that thread.

I've read somewhere that if delivered to a resort with a convention center, it must be picked up at the center and a fee is applied.

I wouldn't mind paying a fee. I'm curious if bell services could deliver to room though.

Three years ago, someone sent me a gift basket during a stay at BCV and I was required to pick it up at the convention center shipping office. I was not charged for a pick up at that time. I would love to order from Prime but first need to confirm no additional charge. I wish I could find the thread as I recall the charge was a bit prohibitive and I made a mental note it would be less expensive to go through Garden Grocer.

When I went to the VWL front desk and asked for my box, she said it's pretty heavy, I can have bell services deliver it to your room. I had rolled my empty suitcase down to the desk. I dropped the box in my suitcase and rolled it back to the villas with me. Didn't cost any extra that way.

No problem. People get confused with those two. I considered Prime Pantry but decided doing my own grocery shopping would be faster. Prime Now is new in the Orlando area so not many people have experience with it so far.

We had a packaged delivered to POR. It was at the checkin desks. BUT...... When we called they said they didn't have a package. I walked down with iPhone and showing it saying it was delivered, and they found it. Also it took 4 days for delivery which we did not anticipate.

I was surprised at the 4 day window also. I ordered on Saturday, the earliest delivery option was Thursday. That was perfect as my arrival was Thursday. My delivery was to Pop Century. I was told I could pick up the box (it was 46 pounds-mainly gatorades and water for marathon weekend) that evening or bell services could deliver on Friday. I carried the box to the room. Not too bad, and it saved a boatload of money. For long stays, we use we go shop.com. For short, marathon relates stays, Amazon is the way to go.

This is Amazon Pantry, not the same Service as Prime Now which offers SAME DAY delivery.

This is not the thread but as I read it, I realized that I was thinking Amazon Pantry when this thread is about Amazon Prime Now. This is awesome and I am considering trying it for our October trip.

So PrimeNow delivers to bell services and not the convention center(with the extra fee) if at a hotel like BWV? I'd love to use it for the convenience of not having to load the kids up in the car but if I have to pay an additional fee I can just take my car to walmart or publix instead.

I was about to say this is great news.... but discovered the one thing I want, water bottles in a 12 or 24 pack, is available only for Dasani and Aquafina - both city water and not spring water!

Yea, that's not what I had in mind. Anything that is actually Spring water is fine... Dasani and Aqufina are truly tasteless - no minerals, not refreshing to me, as they are just tap water.
