Amazon Prime Day 7/11

For those of you who Prime, or have used Prime day in the past, what are some things to be on the lookout for ?

It seems like I remember there being lots and lots of lightning deals that didn't really pertain to me, but this year Id like to try and get some items that we use anyways.

We recently cut the cable cord, so I'm going to be on the lookout for a Fire-stick. Maybe if I see something I can get now and out away for Christmas. My youngest Kindle just absolutely will not hold a charge, we've tried several chargers, so maybe a new Kindle for his Birthday ?

What have you been able to get a good price on that's been worth the online buy ?

Last year I got a Firestick and a Kindle Fire. I think the Firestick was $25 and the Fire was $35, but I can't remember exactly

Last year I got my instant pot on prime day.

I got things like ziploc baggies dirt cheap last year. It was great!

I've never found many good deals on their sales lately. The one thing I have seen that you have to grab quickly are discounted gift cards for various retailers. I either use those for myself at places where I know I will buy things, or else they make great gifts for people who don't know I didn't pay full price for them.

The best deals are on their own devices, fire, kindle and echo. I did get a robo vac for a great price two years ago, but most of the time it is difficult to find something that you actually want that's deeply discounted.

I think they use Prime Day to clear out their warehouses. Its kind of like their build up to Black Friday, a few great deals but mostly junk that nobody ever buys so they have to try to unload it.
