I am guessing that you are talking about a future order, and not an order that you already placed. In that case, as long as you don't use one-click purchasing, you can choose any of the payment methods in your Amazon account (or add a new one) for each individual purchase. My husband and I share an account, and I always select my card for my purchases, and he selects his for each of his purchases, it is very easy.
Thank you
O/t just so I don't have to start a new thread is there a difference between a kindle and a tablet cause what I am eyeing says tablet and it's making me jumpy

You don't have to apologize, Tink. Just be who you are.
Ignore those who criticize you for your grammar and punctuation. They can move on if they don't understand what you are asking. There are plenty of people who do understand, and can reply.
"Kindle" is a brand name for a line of tablet and e-reader products, like "Ford" is a brand name for a bunch of different kinds of autos. There are many different products with the Kindle name:
Kindle Paperwhite
Kindle Fire
Kindle Fire HD
Kindle E-Reader
Kindle Voyage
Kindle Oasis
You have to read the descriptions of each one. I think the ones with Fire in the name are the tablets, and the others are e-readers.
Thank you

Thank you for all your help I think what I am going to do on prim day is get the kindle fire With my dads gift card that way if I need to return it they can put the money back on the gift card. What is their return policy I looked and could not find one
Either this one or the HD is now called Amazon Fire (maybe to avoid confusion with the Kindle e-readers as a whole?Kindle Fire
I would wait. Lots of the Amazon products go on sale on prime day.
Don't want to confuse you....don't worry, doesn't take much to confuse ME! LOL
IF you have your Amazon Gift Card registered for your payment and want to purchase something and NOT use your gift card, make sure you do not hit "buy with 1-click" as that will take it off your gift card. Also, when checking out, your gift card will be listed as payment ways and you need to uncheck that box so the gift card used. You hit the "change payment method" on your check out screen. I believe that is under the address section.
Do you plan on using your kindle as your reader? If so, and you purchase books through amazon for your kindle, the only way to purchase them is "buy with 1-click" so your gift card or credit/debit card will be charged.
I hope this makes sense. Feel free to ask any questions.
I hope you are able to find a good deal and enjoy your purchase! I have both a Kindle Fire HD mostly for traveling and watching Hulu/Netflix etc., and also a Kindle paperwhite for reading ebooks. I enjoy them both, but obviously for different things.
