Amazon add-on items frustration

True..it's easy to find items to add up to $25, but then why pay Prime if you spend $25 and get free shipping anyway?

It doesn't bother me because it doesn't happen that often. Yeah, if they start doing it with most of the items it'll stink. For now it works for me. I can purchase individual items that normally I would have to buy several of when I only want one.

Because with prime it comes in two days instead of super saver.
It may vary by area, but if I get things shipped super saver it takes up to a couple weeks. I don't want my food hanging out in the mail that long.

Well, that's true, but sometimes it seems like the two day really isn't. What type of food items do you find it cheaper to get from Amazon?

I too have had issues with the subscribe and save where I have to wait for a month or more for the product to come in yet it says it is a prime item shipped in 2 days.

Subscribe and save isn't stackable with prime. Subscribe and save items always ship on the same day of the month, so mine all ship on or around the 28th. If I order on the 27th or 28th, and sometimes the 26th - I won't get it until the next cycle.

You can still get it shipped in 2 days with prime, you just have to give up the subscribe and save discount.

I found a great deal on shaving cream for $.99. It was an add-on item. I added it and when I ordered two additional items a few weeks later, it shipped the shaving cream. What I don't understand is, this add-on idea is suppose to save Amazon money on shipping. However ALL three items came in 3 separate packages!!
