Amazing Story with Photos

I put a link on my desktop, Bri, need to read when I have more time, but does look amazing. Sad.

And I thought I was having a bad day before I clicked on that link.
WOW!!!!
Thanks for sharing.....

:( I am speechless.

That was scarier than any Stephen King book! All those poor people. :(

Amazing! I can't decide if she's nuts for going in there or brave for going in to show the rest of us!
Absolutely amazing!

Surreal does seem to fit best. Having Russian family, this site was viewed by me with great interest. Thank you!

Thanks for the link. I have always wondered about that territory and how it was still affected. Going to share this with DH.

I always wondered about what happened to that area after their tragedy. Now I know. How moving and sad. I feel spent after reading all that and looking at those pictures.

There are no words to describe what I feel after reading that and seeing the photos. Something like that could easily happen here in the good old U.S. of A. (Three Mile Island comes to mind.)

Wow, this puts a lot into perspective for me. When we went to Latvija, we visited my grandparents original home. Nearby on their property that was confiscated by the soviets, a home was put up for the orphans of Chernobyl. We went in and saw the children. How very sad for them.

Thanks for the link. It was very moving. I also have wondered how things are in that area now...seems like no one talks about it anymore.
