Resurrecting this thread because I heard a classic from the 80's that I just could not decipher. The crazy thing is it's the dramatic part where he actually says, "I turn to her and say..." That should be a pretty important, very clear message but...huh?

Now, not too tough to find lyrics online....

"I turn to her and say

Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades (oh no)
Don't masquerade with the guy in shades
(oh no) (I can't believe it)
(cuz) You got it made with the guy in shades (oh no)"

What it means, I have no idea??

If you don't look at the lyrics and slide the screen down to avoid reading it's like listening to this on AM radio in the 80s, had no idea what she was saying and the video on MTV didn't help any. Why ninjas? What is happening?
