Sad to see the Oklahoma guys go last night, they were nice, BUT they struggled with every challenge it seemed. i really thought it would be a non elim challenge last night, we haven't had one yet right???
Anyway, i am glad that Jason and Amy realized that Marie(pink hair) isn't their friend, she is in it to win it. Now I can't stand her at ALL!!!!!! BUT, she is right, it is a race, I mean don't they know how she is by now. Shame on them for thinking they were cool like that. On the other side, it was an awful thing to do, BUT she is AWFUL!!! What did they expect?????

BOO Amazing Race! No fair to be eliminated because of singing - in another language, no less! The weren't my favorite team either, and I couldn't see them winning, but this is an awful way to be eliminated.

Totally thought it would be a non elim. night last night. Marie--man she is brutal!! I realize it is a game, but I do not think I could take someone else's taxi. Luckily, A and J did not have to go that far to find a cab (at least it did not look that far).

Now, my two teams I was rotting for are out. Not really sure who the stongest team is--My guess is A and J or the Dr's.

Wow, I thought that was a ridiculous task. I guess I recall some in the past where you had to be able to swim, but it just doesn't seem right to get eliminated because you cannot sing. Maybe if it had been a detour so you could switch to something else, that would have been better. I never thought the OK guys had much of a chance anyway, but they seemed like nice guys.

And Pinkie really has to go. So tired of her nastiness. I was rooting for the beards; I don't really have a favorite anymore.

So I have a question, could they have opted to not do the singing challenge and take a penalty? I think it was done before - Rob and Amber's season on AR where they were in Brazil didn't want to eat all the beef. Wasn't it a 3 hour penalty for not doing the challenge?

I think the singing challenge was one where the selection of who did the challenge was really important. I know I would not have agreed to that challenge because I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I wonder if Danny had a better singing voice than Tim or if they were both terrible.

I was bummed about Adam and Brandon last week. I was really hoping for a non-elimination leg. I was really expecting one last night, though -- hmmmm, I guess next week.

Re: the singing challenge. I would have sucked. However, I don't think they were being judged on the melody as much as they were the pronunciation of the words and keeping the tempo. Even the worst one (OK guy) only had like 5 attempts until he received the clue.

Re: the Afghanimals. They got on my nerves the first couple of weeks, but then started to grow on me. However, Jamal (if that's the one with the longer/curlier hair) is kind of a jerk. He has made some comments that seem to be coming from a mean place instead of just a competitive place. I really didn't like how they denied U-turning the beards either. Just admit it -- people will understand why you felt like you had to -- but to just flat-out lie. I don't dig that.

In fact, they refer to each other as "Bunny" all of the time. I'm guessing they were Playboy Bunnies at one time, hence, the name.

Okay, strike what I said. LOL I looked it up, and, evidently, although the other teams call them "The Bunnies" and they do refer to each other as "Bunny", it has to do with a term of endearment that they have for each other (started by Nicky's mom when she was little).

I agree, they really didn't have to "sing" in that they were expected to hit the right notes, just pronounce the words acceptably enough and keep the tempo, as you said. There were some seriously TONE DEAF performances going on there that still managed to garner the next clue.

I enjoyed watching that challenge.

I actually like the afghanimals, the baseball wives and I think Marie is funny. I don't like the ER docs at all, I feel like they are a little too big for their britches. Would love to see them go.

I want anyone to win BUT that nasty pink hair Marie. She is horrible, not a nice person at all and does not deserve the money.

Two of my favorite teams have been eliminated, but there are still two I like although I haven't been able to remember names even yet. I like the doctors, and the team of two young boys. Would love either of those to win, but like I said...anybody but pink hair!!

And I'm getting so freaking tired of stupid football running overtime every Sunday night!!

I'm sorry, but I can't stand ER doc Travis, his poor wife kept saying she was sorry and unless the AMR editors are real jerks, I didn't hear him say "that's okay, we'll fix it." I felt so bad for her.

I'm glad my afghanimals won. I was so happy to see the baseball bozo's screwing up the dates when they wouldn't tell anyone about the other table. Karma's a you know what.

The double u-turn next week should be interesting.
