Seriously, getting back to the race, I watch it with my young kids, with TiVo so I can speed past the 'inappropriate' parts, which is mostly the Weavers, but both daughters were amazed that the Godlewski sisters were actually sisters because they treated each other so badly.

And this was from 5 & 6 year olds! They said "sisters aren't supposed to be so mean to each other", and I responded, "yeah, it's making them all very sad." I've never had a sister, but man, I'm making darn sure my girls treat each other well and don't pick on each other, because the Godlewski sisters present a really icky picture of what happens when people aren't taught to get along...

Doesn't it seem a little strange that the Weavers keep making a big deal about how their dad was killed in a race track accident and yet make no efforts to wear their seat belts, until pulled over by the police????

I hope this family comes in last...

Not supporting that they weren't wearing seatbelts (I'm a seatbelt crazy person ) but their father was killed as he was stepping onto the track to clear debris and he was hit by an oncoming car. It didn't have anything to do with seatbelts. I do see your point, though. You think they'd be overboard about vehicle safety after something like that happened.

Don't question the greatness that is curling!

During the SLC Olympics, Curling was the only event I would go out of my way to watch.

I even bought a cheesy Winter Olympics video game because Curling was one of the events.

I would love to try to play it one day, but I doubt its played very often down here in Florida.
