Pooh's Pal said:Boy that family from NY sure do like to fight...what's up with that?
Beth76 said:Oooh that Paolo mother complaining how her kids have no respect for her. Hmmmm, I wonder why that is? I don't find them entertaining at all. I want them gone. Then I want the praying family gone. Praying over every little minute detail really makes me question their sincerity. And several people have complained about the sisters screaming. I haven't noticed that. I've only noticed the Weavers (praying family) squealing and shreiking. I also can't believe the Gaghans took so long to find the clue. They said they were looking for two hours. You would think they would go back and look at the clue again after looking for so long.
SRUAlmn said:The other thing I didn't understand about the Gaghans was that the son kept saying 'let's ask someone' and the parents said no.I didn't get that at all. Was it pride? I really like them a lot, don't get me wrong, but that confused me. Maybe they didn't want to encourage their little kids to run up and talk to strangers?
ColoradoBuffaloMom said:I forgot which family said it but as they were on their way to DC someone asked what state Washington DC is in and then another family member answered Washington. Give these folks a map of the United States![]()
Tonight's show was much better than last week but still not as good as the other Amazing Races.

I thought that was weird too, I thought I heard one of the parents say they couldn't ask, but I think it was more that they didn't want to. I like them too, but if I were walking around DC for 2 hours I would ask someone!![]()

Being forced to interact with people who may not speak english, and taking unusual modes of transportation. The airport scenes were always my favorite. Seeing who could get on a flight and so forth.
I can do without seeing the interior of an automobile for the next 8 weeks. Mind you I know it is difficult with 4 people plus a camera person to find transport. I think if they were truly going to do a "family edition" with young children it should have been an even playing field for the contestants. I think they've dumbed down a lot of the detours and road blocks to accomodate the little ones which is frustrating considering one of the teams with young kids are gone. I think the dynamics of a two person team were more interesting. They only had each other to rely on which made for some great tv.
