I'm so excited, it's finally starting! 1st show tonight, Tues!

I don't believe there is an "official thread" yet, so I'll start one. If this is a duplicate, please let me know & I'll close this one.

I need to remember to tape this tonight, also. Should be a good show!

I don't know about this version. I heard rumors that they didn't make it out of North America. Also, are they going to tone down the tasks because there are kids involved? I guess I will have to watch and see...

I am positive that any tasks requiring all 4 on the team to complete it...would be safe and doable by all.

My contribution to this discussion is that I have class on Tuesday nights and I will only catch the last 20 minutes or so! :sad1:

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the show will operate with 4 people on a team, and some of which are young. I haven't gotten on the CBS website yet to see the teams - so I don't know how they are set up (how many young kids).

The Black family lives in the next town over from me. It is exciting to see folks in the game that live right near you.

I read an article in today's Providence Journal that made it sound like just the first leg of the race was run in the Northeast. I took it to mean that the rest was elsewhere in the world but I could be wrong. The Aiello family (father and 3 sons-in-law) live in our general area. I am really looking forward to it.
Plus, I've been watching AR6 on the Game Show Network and tonight's episode is the finale. I can't watch X and X ( just in case someone hasn't seen it) win again. So disappointing :(
AR8's debut comes at a perfect time!

Can't wait for it to start tonight. :cool1: I have a season pass all set up on my Tivo already. It will be interesting to see how it will work with 4 members on each team. And so see how the kids fair in the race.

Actually, I don't think GSN is showing AR tonight. I didn't see it listed in TiVo. I guess they knew we would be conflicted.

Just a reminder--tonight's is a two hour episode, for those of us who record the "old fashioned" way, by setting up our VCR.

Can't wait here, either! Wish it was a bit earlier so kids could watch it. I HAVE to TiVo Boston Legal!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, my favorite reality show is on tonight. I hope it's good one. I'll still watch it. Should be a good one for our children to watch.

Just throwing my post on this thread to subscribe to it! TAR is my favorite show! :cool1:

Thanks for starting a new thread. I actually forgot that it starts tonight. I better check and make sure tivo's all set up. This is my favorite show and I'm anxious to see how it turns out with the family edition. There are only 3 or 4 actual kids on it though. I was kind of disappointed with that. Can't wait for tonight!!

Already reminded DH to TIVO it!
AR is one of my very favorite shows. I like to watch w/ the M's but it is sometimes a bit too crude and I expecially don't like the verbal and, OMG physical confrontations w/ the past teams. This one should be a lot better.
I hope they are able to strike a balance between good clean show for families and still be exciting!
Can't wait to watch tonight. Not sure how I am going to get my 2nd favorite Boston Legal in as well. Guess TIVO in 1 room and VCR in another.
