I think their experience running a ranch and on the rodeo circuit has helped quite a bit, too. Over they years they've developed great problem solving and innovation skills. That's always a plus in the race!

I'm not a big fan of Brenchel, but I think u-turning Dave and Connor was a great plan, didn't they win $7500 each? Why wouldn't anyone want the first place prize? It's usually something pretty sweet.


I'm wondering if we still have to endure another non-elimination leg? I literally hate them, in case it was the afghanimals, then I would love it.

I found it both funny and annoying that Dave has said throughout the race how he's such a strong 60 year old man, how he's such a smart 60 year old man, etc. then when he was u-turned said "I can't believe they would U-turn a 60 year old man!"

Dave acted like a whiney baby this episode. Rachel acts like a whiney baby EVERY episode.


I'm really bummed about the Globetrotters and Brenchel can't leave soon enough for me!

ARGH! Not reading any other replies because I'm only about half way through this episode. I just can't even all over this episode. Dave and Connor are really obnoxious this leg. IT'S A RACE. YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE MAKING FRIENDS!!! And Dave? If you're 60 years old, you really should know better than to make rude comments about a woman's looks just because she did something you didn't like. You two aren't "gentlemen" according to the Afganimals, you're jerks. You want to make such a huge deal about being old and still able to participate, but the minute someone challenges you, you want to use your age as a crutch?!

I'm so incredibly annoyed at him.

ETA: Okay, I'm done the episode now. I really wish the Country Singers would stop relying on others. They can do it when they have to, but they use the other teams far too much. I'm disappointed that the Globetrotters are gone, but I'm not surprised. Dave & Connor really got me this episode though, I really wanted to reach through the TV and slap them upside the head.

I read awhile ago, that Jett and Chord found out one of their ranch hands
were stealing cattle from his ranch. They figured over 1000 head of cattle were stolen. Makes me wonder if the person did it while they were gone?

See, I think Rachel is behaving much better on this Race. She has mellowed and isn't as whiney as she was. They were playing the game by U-Turning the team right behind them. Absolutely Connor & Dave wouldn't have hesitated to U-Turn Brenchel if they had gotten there first.

When the Globetrotters were trying to put the donkey together, I wanted to yell - "read the clue! You have to carry something, add the crate!"

The singers are getting typical cute blonde treatment - they're not only using it, they're embracing it!

I don't see it either. Why wouldn't they use it. You never know when you're going to mess up and get last and you never know when you're going to be able to use it either. So whynot get yourself a first place prize with it?

I don't mind the country girls. What irked me was Brendan at the monastery saying stuff like "it's you, me and God...Rachel'. And they kept showing him praying. Just odd to me.

What was wrong with him praying? It was a monastery...folks pray there all the time. Not abnormal at all

I wish Rachel would stand up and say, "For the record, I didn't want to u-turn you. Just wait 'til you see it on TV." I'm not a fan of hers, but I don't think it's fair for them to attack her.

Maybe it is a good strategic move to keep the blondes in it since they can't complete a task on their own.

I hope the final 3 teams are the Afghanimals, Dave & Connor, and the cowboys, with Leo & Jamal winning it.

I think Rachel has really calmed down compared to last time she was on. She drove me crazy last time with the fake tears. This season she's almost normal and credit where credit is due: she and Brendan have an alliance of 3 against them and they're still leading the pack.

Having said that I'm still rooting for the cowboys.

I was really sad to see the Globetrotters leave this week (although I won't miss them playing the Globetrotters music all the time!) because they are so damn funny! I was cracking up at their conversation about Leonardo DiCaprio. It was pretty obvious that they were a lot farther back from the rest of the teams than they were trying to make it seem on the show. I would have liked to see the country singers go before them. But that's the way the race goes!

Dave's whining got old. But I do really like Conner so I guess it's hard for me to root for them to be leaving soon. I found Brendan a little annoying at the monastery as well, and Rachel was kind of ridiculous talking about her being an "artiste." But I think the other teams overreacted about them using the U-Turn on Dave & Conner.

But yes, u-turns are part of the game and they need to suck it up. I love that Leo & Jamal got u-turned and still managed to come in 3rd. They are like the hippies (Tyler and B.J.), it's like they have 9 lives!

I wasn't the OP, but I too found it weird and annoying. It just came off really cheesy, not to mention the fact that it just seems so full of yourself and entitled to "pray to God" out loud, in a monastery over something like this. It's not like it's life/death it's a fricken game. It was just pretty off-putting to me.

I agree it was cheesy and silly, but I laughed. Brendan and Rachel know why they get called back again and again for these shows and they play it up.
