I know what you mean. Six people have "model" listed as their occupation. Oh well. I'm sure it will still be good. Anything is better than this season's Survivor.

Yeah, I agree about the models--but I guess from a producers point of view, you want at least some "beautiful people". And the rest of us do like to see "beautiful people covered with mud or with their hair messed up--and didn't the model couple skip a fast foward because they didn't want to cut their precious hair? If memory serves, that may (MAY! Tough to know for sure!) have made a difference in the end.

We're definitely psyched for this in our house--I'll be taping, though, since I go to bed early--plus, the kids just love it.

I never take the "models" as serious contenders. IMHO, they're only there to get their faces on television. I'm sure they're all hoping this will lead to their big break. It's as good a reason as any, just not one I take seriously.

I can't wait for this to start! I've read the biographies and have picked out four teams that I think will be interesting:

Don & Mary Jean
Gus and Hera
Lori and Bolo
Meredith & Maria

Of course, this is subject to change after I actually see the first show! LOL!

I do love this show, but it did bother me how many pseudo-celebrities they had on last time. Alison, made waves on BB, Chip was an actor, Brandon was a model and Christie and Nicole were both Miss America contestants I think. Didn't these people already get their 15 minutes? Now we have more models?

Chip was an actor? As in Reichen and Chip? Somehow I missed that. He is handsome...I guess I could see him as an actor.

I like the teams like Charla and Mirna, Chip and Kim, Teri and Ian, and **gasp** even Tara and Wil much better. They're more real and more interesting. You know that they didn't make it because they were simply models looking for more exposure.

I think AR has been of a somewhat higher quality reality show than most of the competitors. This newest list seems to me as though they are resorting to the "sex-sells factor" Too bad, they were already better, having won the emmy for best reality show, now they might as well be on fox

I like that it is not a popularity contest, if you come in last you are eliminated no voting. However, I too was surprised at all the models/actors this time
