Colin & Christie - I just loved watching that ox turning figure eights while Colin was being hauled along behind it. Who could believe Christie saying "they're not important" about the pedstrians she was urging the cab driver to run over. Isn't she special. Oh yeah, and all the other teams "suck". Such a nice girl.

Brandon & Nicole - Nicole doesn't know much about the Philippines. We've been blown away by her vast knowledge of other cultures, so this came as a real shock.

Karen & Linda - Linda was really at Karen this week - not so pretty, but I still like them.

Chip & Kim - I just hope using the yield on C/C wasn't a mistake. All 3 teams reaped the advantages of the yield, but Chip & Kim have now used their only yield AND C/C now officially hate their guts.

How will the two hour finale work? Will there just be one final pit stop (first team wins), or will there be one or more along the way where others are eliminated?

Looks like they're headed to some ice fields next week and I've heard a rumour that they did come to western Canada. Columbia Ice Fields? Maybe Alaska?

Next week promises to be VERY interesting.

I agree. She said something like, "I believe the Lord has given me everything I need to win this race".

But that still means that the Lord didn't give the poor people everything they needed. I still think it's a shallow self centered statement.

Now I know each team can only use the yield once BUT can you yield a team that already has been yielded (C/C) especially two weeks in a row?

I think there was something more edited out that we didn't see about the yield.
If Kim & Chip thought about it, they should have hung back and let Brandon and Nicole give the yield. Remember they were telling each other to yield C&C when riding in the cabs. So anyone could have given the yield. They were all standing at the yield when it took place. I think it was a big mistake for C&K because we all know that C&C were mad, and therefore want revenge. C&K have to stay ahead of C&C in order not to get a yield. I think a team can be yielded twice. Oh ya.......that would be good - Colin would just blow up if that happened......maybe another huge temper trantrum

I also don't want C&C to win AT ALL! But I fear that we will have another Flo here.

I would like to see Chip and Kim first, or perhaps the bowling Moms.

In one of the video clips on cbs.com Chip makes a remark about it being their last chance to yeild Colin & Christie. Do you think there might not be any more yeilds?

I think there's another yield. In the previews for the final show; Chip kept saying over and over no C&C, no C&C. I assume he was saying this because he knows if they get ahead of him and Kim, they'll use the yield.

Did anyone else see Colin and Christie with Phil on the E! Emmy Preshow. I just caught the tail end of the clip. Charla and Mirna were also with him.

I really hope this doesn't mean they won!

Well, I don't want to get into a theology debate, but I just don't see it that way. I personally don't see her quote as shallow or self centered, but that's just my opinion of course....

I do agree that Chip and Kim made a tactical error not letting the moms or B&N yield C&C. Now C&C are out for blood and C&K have used up their only chance to yield. I am also looking forward to the finale!!!

I saw C/K & B/N in the background at the Emmy pre-show. But I assume that C/C won since they were on the "E" preshow. C/M were good TV - they've kinda made the rounds since they were booted. Colin's hair - yuk! what was that?!

I would actually doubt that they can be yielded again, nor can chip and kim yield anyone else. I base this on the fact that there are different size pictures used, one for the yielded and one for the yieldee.

Who knows how the final episode will go? In the past, the final non elimination round was saved until the last show. It started w/ the final 3 teams: after then end of the first hour there was a pitstop, but it was a non-elimination one.

I would guess that since there are 4 teams, there will be a pit stop at the end of the first hour and one team will be eliminated. I just hope it's a close ending. Was it last time or the time before where the last place team did not make it to Alaska before the first place team won? I like it when it's a foot race at the end!

That was Team Guido in the original Amazing Race! They got to a clue box and there was a mesage inside that Rob & Brennan had won.

I saw a post on another board from someone who supposedly met all of the finalists at some kind of Emmy party. He said that they are all quite nice even Colin. He said that Colin commented that he could see why people would hate him after seeing the show.

I think that editing makes a lot of difference. I wonder if that would be the case with Myrna too?

Colin looked downright weird at the Emmys though. If he won, he needs to hire a stylist.

I think it's great that they are starting 6 so soon after 5. I'll have to have my SO tape it for me though, as I'll be out of town that day.
