Have been rooting for Chip and Kim since day 1. They work so well together. I like Christy and Colin? too. I think it was a big mistake though to use fast forward when you are number 1. They ought to know sooner or later a flight or a business with certain hours is going to allow another team to catch up. BTW where did the fast forwards come from? I thought there werent any this year? What happed to the other thing where they can delay a team? Am I missing something??

I agreed with them using the fast forward. There are only 2 in the whole race this year & they used one of them. They got to the pit stop so early & were able to rest so much longer than everyone else. I suppose it could backfire on them, but I tend to think I would've done it too.

I think it was smart to use it, because Phil said that there were only two fast forwards (that is what his voice over said last night when they found it) so if there are only two, what are the odds they will be the first to find the next one?
Might as well use it while they can.

Charla did the challenge again last night, so far I think only Mirna did the Cow one.....

I actually think it is always nice to see people getting along during the show, cause it is so easy to argue with your partner, I know I wouldn't want to EVER do that with DH, we would be divorced by the end of the first leg of the race!

Sorry all you Mirna and Charla haters but I am still rooting for them I watched the web clips and did not see anything nasty. Collin and Christie seem like total phonies and the brothers are just awful and mean. If you hate all people from other countries so much ("everyone in Russia looks miserable") why do this race? I guess it is all about the 1 MIL for them. Chip and Kim and the cousins seemed so happy and grateful to be seeing Egypt. The twins were lucky Chip and Kim were nice to them. They can never find anything.

Oh! Also, did everyone catch the preview for next week? Why are Mirna and Charla fighting over a cab with Collin and Christie? C/C got to the last pit stop at 11:30am and the other teams were hours behind them. They must make a serious mistake next week!

I thought Colin and Christy were crazy at first to use the fast forward when they were in first place, but now I'm beginning to see the benefits. However, they won't get to rest any longer than anyone else. They will leave the pit stop 12 hours after they arrived, just like all the other teams.

And about the bowling moms losing all their money. Do you think they will be allowed to ask other teams for a loan? If so, maybe they can go to the "Bank of Chip" since he's been so kind to other teams.

Oh Ok, I see the point, it literally took it away from someone else. I just always thought of it as coming up from behind. Thanks for pointing that out.

I didn't even notice that it was Colin and Christie that they were fighting over the cab with. If it is, they sure made up a lot of ground and that fast forward was a big waste. They must catch up at an airport or something like that.
I wonder too how the moms can compete without any money. They show them trying to barter with apples, but how far will that get them. It would be something if they're able to complete the leg and not get eliminated.

Last night was the first time I've gotten to watch an entire episode though I have seen at least the final 20 mins of the previous ones.

To my surprise, I didn't root against the cousins as much as I expected to; I really enjoyed Charla's attitude! I didn't even hate whiny as much as I expected.

My wife and I have rooted for Chip and Kim from day one just because they were adults, real people, parents, MARRIED, and Christian apparently.

I almost wish he hadn't helped the twins though; I wanted the Bowling Moms to catch up since the twins didn't figure out the puzzle.

I agree with the others that I would have saved that FF for later!

Just thought of something else. How come the twins weren't penalized for not doing the puzzle? Wouldn't that be considered not completing a task?

I don't think they made any mistakes. Colin and Christie will leave the Pit Stop at 11:30 p.m. That will work against them...everything will be closed. Charla and Mirna will leave the Pit Stop at 7:30 a.m. I think this is a much better time to leave and gives them plenty of time to catch up before destinations open for business.

Yeah with the cab thing, I heard Colin say to the cousins something like This is our cab, we never left it, as the cousins are both sitting in the cab...if they never left the cab then how did the cousins get in it??

Also my DH said the mom's should barter with clothes to get things, I was wondering about then taking a "loan" from another team, but I doubt anyone will give them anything.

I agree with this. I don't think it was wise to use the FF when they were in first place AND hours ahead of everyone. There is always an "equilizer".

I'm glad we haven't seen the Yeilds yet. They seem so unfair to me. It's one thing to use something to promote yourself, but to actually stall another team is just wrong. I guess they're going to come out towards the end when time really counts. Maybe no one will use them. Yeah right.

I still agree with them using it, like I said before if there are only two, what are the odds you will see it again?

And why give another team a chance to take away your lead for that leg (who knows, it could have been one of those you won a cruise legs and they would have missed out on it...LOL)

If there were more then two fast forwards this year then I would have thought how dumb to use it, but since there were only two, I would have done the same.

Well, when the twins said "we're clueless" they weren't kidding, were they? They just sort of tossed the puzzle pieces aside and decided not to use them (after they've been hauled 140' out of the ground in a satchel). I wish Chip hadn't helped them - not only did it affect his team's time a bit, but we might have been treated to the spectacle of the twins begging for money next week, instead of the bowling Moms. And then good old Chip helped out Nicky and Brandon (retching sounds) which was kind of him, but maybe he should have waited until he and Kim were further across the field.

Even though I find Mirna annoying, I thought last night she and Charla did a great job. Sure, Charla had to do the roadblock (as usual) but they were the only ones who even thought to check for an earlier connecting flight. I'm starting to like them more since I thought they were playing smart but clean last night, and Mirna managed to keep the whining to a minimum.

I'm hoping either the brothers or Nicky & Brandon get the heave ho next week - can't be too soon for me!

I thoroughly enjoyed last night's leg of the race. I thought Myrna and Charla did great, although it was amusing Charla did the roadblock, again! The brothers bother me- too much griping, and I don't care for Colin and Christie- Colin just bugs me so much. So arrogant. I also was rolling my eyes at the twins when they didn't even sit for a minute and try and figure out the puzzle. They're a little too panicky or something for me.

I'm definitely rooting for Chip and Kim, Linda and Karen or Myrna and Charla to win this race!

I couldn't believe Chip showed the twins where the clue was!! Especially when it dropped them (Chip and Kim) down a place. I'm all for being nice and helping people out, but I don't think the twins will or can return the favor. They try to come off as so competitive and smart but they're at the back of the pack every time and they're always getting lost.
Charla doesn't bug me, but I still can't stand Mirna, she is so whiny -- I can't go down in the ground, I'm scared!! Charla has done every roadblock so far, including half the cow one.
It will be interesting to see how the bowling moms do next week. I mean no money in a foreign country, doesn't that pretty much guarentee they'll be eliminated next round? Unless someone else totally messes up.
Can't wait for next week!

Why do all of the teams seem so clueless when it comes to air travel, though? They don't think of possibilities for better connections. While I'm quite sick of Mirna's whining -- I will give the cousins the credit for at least checking for better connections once they arrived at FRA.

I can't stand Charla and Myrna either, but I really have to give credit to Charla for doing that road block again.

I felt so bad for her when Myrna wanted to ride the horses and Charla says it is over a mile to walk to get over there. Myrna demanded they do it and took off. Then she kept yelling to Charla to hurry and Charla had the brains again to tell Myrna to blow the whistle that they were coming. Charla deserves the 1 million way more than Myrna.

They probably where lucky that they did ride the horses and pull the mules, Charla would of been doing all the work pulling the stones and laying down the logs to roll the stones.

I don't understand how the bowling moms pulled the stones so fast, or do you think the twins pulled so slow that the bowling moms caught up.
