the twins in first place?! how did that happen? i thought they were going to be eliminated the first show.

the show last night was so funny. i was cracking up every time the teams fell off the wave-runner. fortunately, the propellers are internal so they won't hurt you if you fall off. team t and t probably wouldn't have been eliminated if they could have stayed out of the water. i didn't understand why he kept letting her drive when he said she was going so slow and kept tipping the wave-runner.

my favorite team is the father and gay son. i think this trip will be good for their relationship. also i think it's interesting how they react to the same situation but with such a different perspective. i think they will go all the way by keeping each other grounded.

I'm sorry to see my Indiana team go. I am also having a hard time choosing a team to back. There just doesn't seem to be any one that stands out, except perhaps for the two brothers. I liked the comment one of them made. It was something like "What are you doing? Taking a Sunday stroll? We're in a race!" Hopefully as the weeks go on and we get to know each team better, things will get more interesting.

they haven't done anything to the other teams (unless the editors aren't showing something) but the other teams are so catty about them

I'd also like to know if there is anything I missed concerning the twins? Did they actually do something or are the other teams just being jerks towards them because they are an easily recognizable target

I'm like most, I like the father/son team and the older brother team. The ones I don't care for at the moment are the couple teams, especially the older married one.

Good to know someone else doesn't like the married couple! That guy gets on my nerves!

The twins took the fast forward and that is why they are now in first place. It will be interesting to see next week exactly how far ahead they are.

I don't like Ian and his wife. They keep saying they have to prove that older couples can do this, but they are so pissy about it. I was so hoping that T and T would beat them to the pit stop.

This show is so entertaining. Last week the girls fell on their face, this week teams fell off the wave-runners and it looks like next week there is more falling in the water. Cracks me up!

I REALLY Cannot stand the "Doublemint" twins! AACCKK! I hope they go next week, I could definitely do without them. I am still rooting for the New Yorkers....Hope they win!

I don't like the lawyer chicks. I really dislike their method of getting "help" by acting like they're weak. Nothing like perpetuating a stereotype you'd think they'd like to see disappear.

Sharon, I agree with you! They will use their "system" to the max for the game, but they will probably be the first ones to complain if anyone stereotypes them.

I love Amazing Race!

so far I don't really have a favorite team, because none of them really seem that great. The twins are very hot (they look like tom cruise!) but they're jerks, and they make some stupid mistakes. I kind of like the Harvard girls, because they seem to be making some smart decisions. They're not really following anyone else. I think that last year's teams were so much better though...there were specific teams I liked and disliked from the first episode. This year none of them really stand out so far.

I haven't seen any thing on screen that would make me think the twins aren't nice guys. In fact they have been pretty honest about their faults and stupid mistakes.
I find discrimination based on appearance unattractive, and it seems to me that many of the other teams are treating them badly because of their good looks.

Well, tonight's episode reminded me of the first race where "Team Guido" took the fast forward only to finish last, but remained in the race on a technicality. Sorry to see the father-son team go. I think it would have been interesting to watch there interaction a while longer. But, at least they went out in style! How about that limo ride!!

I laughed so hard when the one brother kept falling out of the boat! Glad to see them move up in the standings. Next week's race looks like it could have a tight finish.

It was a fun show tonight from what I saw of it, since I missed the first half. And I'm actually starting to like the twins and not just because of their looks.

It seemed like the father-son team were just SO far behind when they got to London even the Fast Forward couldn't help them make up the time.

loved tonights episode ! I was very sad to see the father/son team eliminated. My new 3 faves in no particular order are the two sets of twins, and the couple from NYC. I was so impressed when they caught the 2nd bus, they are a good team and treat each other well.

The first week, I didn't like the good looking twins - no particular reason - they just seemed to have an attitude. But geez, after listening to those other teams whine "We've gotta beat those twins" all night, it's kind of changed my mind. Are the older brothers (the gay/straight ones) twins, too? I thought they just look a alike, some non-twin brothers/sisters do have a strong resemblance to each other. I think the ones that are the top two this week are my faves to win, along with the older couple. I was sorry to see the father/son team leave. I was really getting to like the interaction between them...it was almost a subplot to the show. I hope the Legal Eagles go next week, but I really don't like any of the younger "yuppie" teams.

I am routing for the brother team and the twins after tonights show. I can't believe how snotty the other teams were!

I didn't like the long distance couple at first, but now I am starting to like them more. I still can't stand the married couple.
He is so mean to his wife!

I am still wondering why people don't like the twins. All I've seen is the one stupid mistake, but I think it was a momentary lapse. I can't believe all these adults will gang up on them. Can we say, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful"? I'm finding myself rooting for the people who are getting a bad rep just due to stereotypes (the twins and the lawyers, although truth known I probably wouldn't like them in real life ).

I've seen some stuff from the cop/fireman that I didn't like. I hope they go soon.
