Amazing Race 11 - All Stars (begins 2/18/07)

Ha-le-lu-jah! Ha-le-lu-jah! Halelujah! Halelujah! Ha-le-lu-jah!

I didn't care for either Rob and Amber when they were on Survivor and I don't care for them as a couple. I'm glad to see them gone! As a previous poster said, it was getting boring seeing them come in first all the time. It was refreshing and exciting seeing them back in the pack for a change.

Was it just me or maybe just the way it was cut but Rob just didn't seem into the last roadblock.

I'm kind of bummed that Rob and Amber are out...they're the most interesting people in the race...I'll be rooting for team cha cha now, but will miss Romber.

I've decided I'm going to root for who I want gone the most. So it's a toss up between the BQs and Mirna, Charla doesn't bother be so much but Mirna I want to run over with the next available car! After that, Team Guido....then I don't know!

How about the letters they received? It seemed like everyone but Romber and Charla/Mirna received supportive and encouraging letters from their former racers. Even Dustin/Kandace got a positive letter from one of the Bama moms.

I can't see why anyone would stop watching.
Exactly! There have been eleven seasons of AR, nine without Romber, and it's always been a good show. Anyone that stops watching because of tonight's outcome is only cheating themselves.

Was it just me or maybe just the way it was cut but Rob just didn't seem into the last roadblock.
Rob's attitude seemed to change once he realized they were so far behind. It was almost like he didn't care anymore. What's a shame (not really) is that if he had kept his head in the game they still could have come in 6th or 7th. He probably could have come in even closer to the front if his ego hadn't got in the way at the sign building detour. C & M were smart enough to change tasks when they realized they had messed up on their first attempt.

i had heard the spoiler that they didn't make it out of South America, but it still seemed very weird to me. Rob and Amber never walk anywhere - they always go go go ---- it seemed like they were walking through the whole leg this time.

I really don't care much for them, but they were way more likeable this time around than usual. I also really appreciate the way they never screeched at each other when they fell behind.

I wish they would just eliminate individuals and then their partner would have to pair up with someone else. Mirna drives me batty and they've been focussing way too much on her. Let's see some of the other teams for a change!!!

what goes around comes around - maybe not today or tomorrow, but sooner or later - and their time

:hourglass :hourglass - for this time - was tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am super happy they are off - I was so happy it wasn't a non-elimination segment

:cheer2: :cheer2:  :cool1: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Well, I think Rob and Amber made everyone else take their game up a notch. I feel the let down a little in that I just didn't feel that same ambition and drive from the other teams. Not that everyone else doesn't want it...

I guess now that they are out...I'm kind of liking...in no particular order...Terry and Ian, and Danny and Oswald.

Mirna and Charla...just like their first time...can't wait to see them go. But it will be just my luck that the leg they come in last on will be non-elimination. Although you'd think if this was a true All-Stars race, each and every leg would be elimination. The best of the best with no second chances.

Did you know that the eliminated teams are being sequestered in a home in Alcapulco, Mexico? They have videos of the eliminated teams arriving at the sequester house on the Amazing Race page on cbs.com. It is called elimination station. I think the next installment(when Rob and Amber arrive) will be very interesting(and unexpected).

How about the letters they received? It seemed like everyone but Romber and Charla/Mirna received supportive and encouraging letters from their former racers. Even Dustin/Kandace got a positive letter from one of the Bama moms.
I think which mailbag you picked determined whose letter you received. IOW, if Charla and Mirna had picked a different bag they wouldn't have gotten that nasty letter from Lance and Marshall. Instead it would have been a (nasty) letter from another team.:rolleyes1

And Romber fans... the Reality Network is showing a two hour block tonight of their awful show about Rob becoming a poker player. Knock yourself out!

We were cheering so much when they got eliminated!!
I think that its funny that some say they won't watch now that Rob and Amber are gone. I was one that was not going to watch anymore if they were still there for much longer. Oh, they make me sick. Tonight is a happy night. Now I can watch AR and enjoy it again. :)

Mirna fusses at everyone else who thinks Charla can't do as much because she is a little person and she is just as capable. What was with her speech that she has had to do more than anyone else in the history of the race!?! Seems like I remember a side of beef being carried by Charla that you couldn't handle! I wonder what Charla thought tonight when she saw that clip!

I'm SSSSOOOOO SAD! Rob and Amber were my favorite. The rest of the teams are so boring. :sad1:

Does anyone else find Eric's frat boy behaviour a little old? Seriously, how many times can he comment on Danielle's breasts? The guy is 28. I think it's time to grow up.

And how about the trailer for next weeks show, with Eric yelling at the Guido's, calling them freaks. Whats up with that? I really hope Eric is eliminated next.

I love damo's suggestion of eliminating individuals. That would be very interesting(and entertaining). So, we could have a team with Charla and Danielle.

I'm so bummed:sad2: I'm really going to miss Rob and Amber. They really were a great team. I'm not sure who I'll root for now, but I'm leaning toward Oswald and Danny.

I don't think it was that close at the end. There's no way Rob and Amber would have walked if they thought they had a chance to out run Charla and Mirna.

I thought it was so funny when Oswald and Danny invited Phil along to Maui:lmao:

I was just starting to like Rob and Amber. He is quite cocky but they sure know how to play the game.

Mirna and Schmirna need to go now. They are just so two faced. They complain about everyone else but then they want the advantage. I love how Rob and Amber got in the taxi and then Myrna gets mad. What did she expect.

I'm rooting for Joyce and Uchena. I liked them when they won and I still like them.

I'm SSSSOOOOO SAD! Rob and Amber were my favorite. The rest of the teams are so boring. :sad1:

I agree. Rob and Amber are my favorites too. They are a great team who work well together and always get along. I was wishing that they would win so badly. :headache: There really isn't a reason to watch in my opinion anymore. I will be watching some families getting new homes on ABC. The other teams are boring and I really couldn't care who wins now. Oh well, like Rob said, they have already won in life because they have eachother. :thumbsup2 They have positive attitudes and will do well in their lives.
