For some reason, I found yesterday's episode hilarious.

I agree. The BQs did nothing wrong. They wanted info and even asked how much money they wanted to split. They decided to leave when they heard how much and saw how C/M were acting. C/M stayed there on the side of the road for several minutes flipping out on that guy.

I think I am in the minority but I like the BQ's.

I like them too. They were my favorites last season. Not sure about this season yet, but they are definitely high on my list.

I agree with Eliza. You can't deny that Rob and Amber are playing a very smart game. Personally, while I am tired of seeing Rob and Amber on every reality tv show, I still respect their game. And they will have to really f up to be eliminated.

And as for Charla and Mirna, I have been on their side up until last night. Every issue they have had in the past, I felt they were justified in their response to the other players. For example, last weeks episode, when Dustin and Kandace tried to horn in on C & M's taxi driver. I don't think they overreacted at all. But, last night's episode, when Mirna tried to take over Teri and Ian's gate agent at the airport. Unbelievable! That was some of the most obnoxious gameplay I have ever seen and I really think they need to go soon. It will be very interesting to see how next week's episode plays out with Charla calling Amber out. I can't wait to see what happens.

ETA: Eliza, did you really try out for the show??? What happened? That would be so cool to have someone to cheer for. I hope you get in!!!

Yes, me and my 3 sisters tried out for the family season. They never contacted us, guess we weren't interesting enough! My mom said, "I can't imagine why they didn't pick you four!" We are all very different and have all sorts of hot buttons with each other. It would have been great, too bad we didn't get picked. Me and my youngest sister were totally bummed! The other two were so-so about it.

Mostly I like the BQs too. They did something in their season that I didn't like, can't remember now though. Like Romber, they play their own game and just keep pressing on. I can see it coming down to Romber and the BQs.

They bought airline tickets for another team, pretty much letting them cut in line (in front of Bama I think). I wasn't too thrilled with that either. But that was just one mark against them.

Actually, D & K never offered to help pay, C & M demanded they split the taxi driver's fee or leave. This is the recap taken directly from cbs.com:

Well, that may be how CBS is spinning it but what I heard and saw in the episode was different. What I saw was...

Mirna made assumptions about Dustin & Kandice's intentions and accused them pretty aggressively. They responded by asking how much money they were talking about. When the cab driver said $100 Dustin & Kandice rather legitimately said that was too much money. They suggested to Charla & Mirna that they ask him for a map and split the cost of that. When Charla & Mirna refused to have a reasonable discussion about it, Dustin & Kandice decided to leave.

Personally, I thought that the BQs were quite reasonable in their willingness to split a bill to a certain level and their decision not to spend all of their money when they didn't know what they'd need it for in the future. Obviously we have different interpretations but I think that's why the networks like reality TV.

I love Rob and Amber. They are always nice and respectful to each other.

I do not like Shmirna. They are just so rude. They think they can just butt in front of Terri and Ian like that at the airport? So rude. They are annoying too, they gotta go next.

I like Terri and Ian this race. They are doing well. She fell out of the boat!! Crazy!

I like the BQueens too. I am glad they didn't get eliminated by missing their clue. They are smart, and good racers.

I did like Kentucky last race, but I am glad they are gone now. I also noticed Daves smirk when Mary said she would die in the water! Too funny. I rewound the tape to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and it was definately a smile all right!!

I think these shows always set us up for next weeks episode like some big thing is going to happen, and it is never that big of a deal. So I am not holding my breath!

The recap left out the best part. When they started screaming at the other cars passing them while they argued on the side of the road.

They had a point, but there isn't really they can do about it. The BQ's were smart to drive way when Shmirna started freaking out. The best part is when everybody pretty mcuhg ot there anyway without the help Shmirna was paying for.

I just had an idea about the big race to the finish line on the next show. Maybe it IS going to be a close finish, but it will be one of those shows where Phil's waiting at the mat with another clue and tells the teams that this isn't the pit stop, they have another leg to race!

I hope you're right. I really don't want it to be that Rob and Amber are last. I think they make the race so much more fun to watch.

I'm watching it now to. I'm a little dissapointed my favorite team got booted. I loved David and Mary. I hate to say I really don't want Rob and Amber to win. I just really can't stand them. Especially Rob.

Wow. I think Mirna really needs to get a grip. I understand it must be difficult for her to compensate for Charla's "shortcomings", but Charla is doing the best she can. I mean if Charla thinks she can carry that bucket and the log, let her. She is more worried about what Charla can't do than what she is doing.
