Congratulations on the garage sale! :bounce: We had one earlier this year that was three days and we made $160. I've been thinking about having another one next week because I have to get some money in my WDW fund.:teeth:

Your meal plan for today sounds like a good one. We went grocery shopping this weekend too, but we came home with a lot of snacks. :earseek:

Good Afternoon! So far so good! I got home and thought to myself why don't I just wrap up the ham, cheese and salad and make a low carb wrap - so that's what I did and it was yummy! I also had one of these strawberry cups of mouse that I made. They are very tart and refreshing and will hopefully keep my sweet tooth at bay for the afternoon.

Just dropping by to say hi...Glad you made some $$ on your garage sale. I have never had one because my husband won't part with anything!! I have tried to sneak stuff out in the trash and he brings it back in so I gave up. You know those baby seats that attach to the back of a bike? We still have ours downstairs...our son is now 17...:eek:

I am always looking for nutritious things to eat when I get the mad munchies. Lately I have bring drinking V-8...I really like it with ice, and a couple of glasses are lo-cal, but fill me up. I also like my chocolate peppermint Luna bars. I keep one in my purse for emergencies. I also bought some Nestle sugar free hot chocolate to sip on at night. I hate rice cakes, but next I might try some light microwave popcorn. I have to keep trying new snacks so I don't get bored and eat the kid's junk or my husband's pie!

It sounds like your training is going well, and you definately need to add some carbs with all that exercise. The strawberry mousse sounds yummy. Congrats on the $ from the garage sale. My neighbor had on this weekend and only made $55 for Fri/Sat. she does have really tacky taste though. Have a great evening.

LOL! Beth you crack me up!

Well ask me no questions and I will tell you know lies. I went a bit overboard on the eating - not horrible, but not good either. Menu for 6/28/04:

B: 1/2 whole wheat english Muffin with Natural Peanut Butter
L: Low Carb Tortilla Wrap with Ham, Gouda Cheese, Salad Mix, and Ranch Dressing.
S: Strawberry Cup (only 4 carbs)
D: Summer Sausage and Cheese w/Brown Mustard and 1/2 whole wheat english Muffin w/ butter
S: 1 cup of no sugar added Ice Cream
S: 5 pizza rolls

Stuck to water or diet soda all day and did manage to take my vitamins.

I was really hungry for some reason after dinner and proceeded to binge - not a good thing. I wonder if maybe even with the English Muff in and the Wrap if I still didn't have enough carbs - I"ll have to actually do a count to see what happened there.

Today's Plan:
B: 1/2 WW English Muffin w/ Natural Peanut Butter - this is really yummy for breakfast!:Pinkbounc

L: Left over Summer Sausage and Cheese w/Brown Mustard.

S: Protein Bar

D: I'm going to be making Lisa's Shrimp Alfredo over Broccoli and I'll also be adding in some mushrooms - yummy! I'll be making DH either pasta or he can eat left over Pork Chops and Veggies

S: Fruit - Peaches

Tonight is a running night so we will be hitting the track for 4 minutes of running 6 minutes of walking - it is going to be a rough workout - hence the Protein Bar for a snack this afternoon.

I'm feeling kinda bloated today which is probably from the salty Pizza rolls.

Gee, Amanda, a binge for me is a lot more than 5 pizza rolls!! :p I think you did pretty well yesterday with your food!

I'm glad you did so well with your garage sale and it sounds like you put the $ to good use! It's so nice to walk into the house and see it all fixed up.

Thanks Doe! I guess I am counting the binge as being the 2 helpings of ice cream and the pizza rolls. I actually am making it out worse then it was. Dh made about 25 pizza rolls last night - I took my little plate into another room so that I wouldn't be tempted to keep eating after I was done.

Good Morning! Well after an hour of computer issues I am finally able to get into my systems. Sheesh!:crazy:

First I just have to say that Lisa's (ZerasPride) shrimp alfredo is one of the best dishes I have ever had and I had a huge and very filling helping for dinner last night.

Our training session went well. Walk 6/ Run 4 for 30 minutes. We did little over 2.25 miles - we ran the last part a little slower then usual. This morning my knee is aching a little and I woke up STARVING!

Menu recap for yesterday:
B: 1/2 whole wheat english muffin (14 carbs) and Natural Peanut Butter (2 carbs)
L: Sausage and Cheese (5 carbs)
S: Strawberry cup (4 carbs)
D: Alfredo Shrimp over broccoli w/mushrooms - really yummy and I'm not sure about carbs
S: 1/2 cup of sugar free ice cream.

So it was a pretty perfect day!

Plan for today:
B: Fried Egg w/ Cheese on Whoe Wheat Enlish Muffin (I said I woke up starving this morning). A little bigger breakfast then usual.
S: Coffee - 5 carbs
L: ?? I'm thinking Tuna Salad
D: Again not sure - I may defrost some chicken breast and put them on the george forman.

Tonight after dinner we are going to a bar to hang out with my cousin for an hour or so. I haven't seen her in a year (she is 10 years older then me) so we decided to get together and hang out for awhile. Should be a really relaxing evening.

Yesterday wasn't perfect but it certainly wasn't bad either. Recap:
B: fried egg sandwich w/cheese on a WW english muffin - 25 carbs
L: Tuna Salad - 2 carbs
S: 1 glass 2% Milk - ?
D: 1/2 Chef Salad and 3 slices of thin crust Pepperoni Pizza - ?
S: Protein Bar- 4 carbs

We went out to a bar last night to watch my cousin play sand volleyball - I stuck to a diet soda and fortunantly no one around us ordered food so I got through that without temptation.

Plan for today - today is another crazy day with lots to do. After work tonight we have another business meeting and I need to pick up the house a bit.

Plan for today:
B: 1/2 english Muffin w/ Peanut Butter - 14 carbs
L: Left over Chef Salad w/Ranch Dressing
S: Protein Bar ( if needed )
D: Grilled Chicken Breast w/veggies - dh will have pasta

Good Afternoon! So far, so good today. Although they have moved us at work to different cubicles and it is really hot where they have put us. I am dying for a fruit smoothie but am trying to resist the temptation of one. Only 1 more hour before the place closes.

Well I avoided the fruit smoothie :Pinkbounc and I went home and had a sensible dinner. Final breakdown looked like this:

B:Peanut Butter on 1/2 english muffin - 16 carbs

L: Subway Wrap - 10 carbs

D: 1 grilled chicken breast, greenbeans, and 1/2 cup of flavored rice. 6 carbs plus whatever the rice is.

No snacking today - because I just didn't have time to. :)

It is going to be a quite day at work today. I'm in sales and most people are off work in preperation for the holiday weekend. Today's plan:

B: Protein Bar - 4 carbs and Energy Drink - 0 carbs
L: Ham and Cheese wrap
D: We are going to Buffalo Wild Wings - I'll be enjoying Chicken Wings and Diet Soda!

Exercise - we are suppose to running tonight but I am going to see how DH feels. He has had a stressful week at work and then we have also been very busy with our at home business so he really hasn't relaxed at all this week. If he is to tired to run tonight we will do it on Saturday before all the 4th of July festivities.

Our Weekend Plans:
Saturday - 2 BBQ's to go to. One at 4pm and one at 7pm
Sunday - hanging out with our Disney Loving Neighbors and watching fireworks
Monday - we are going to see the Michael Moore movie and relax around the house.
