OH MY GOD NO!!! Lol. I tried lightening my hair a few weeks ago and hate it. Going back dark brown.

Thank you! I am really excited to cut it all off. It touches my shoulders right now. It will be nice and cool for the summer If only Friday would get here sooner!

Yeah...it definitely needs to be hidden!! Are you going to try it on once you get it or wait until alterations? If you do try it on...only once is allowed. Then it must be hidden. Is your mom taking care of this...hope I can trust her

Does David's Bridal not hold the dress for you until alterations? The place I got my dress held it for us until alterations. Even after alterations were complete they held it until the day before the wedding.

So girls, not much of an update. Work is nuts, it's getting to be the busy time of year for us PLUS I have Friday off. We are going to run some errands, go out to dinner with my mom AND get my haircut!! I have been growing it out in hopes of a ponytail for vacation. HOWEVER, it is way too high maintenance for me. Too much time drying my hair. So I am cutting it BEFORE vacation. Here is what I want:

Are you going to keep the cut for the wedding? That hair cut is a real pain to grow out and I know you were posting up do's for the wedding, just something to consider.

How did I miss the hair pic??? That used to be MY haircut!!!! I loved my hair when it was cut like that... super easy to maintain! When I got engaged I decided to grow it out again but it's taking forever and some days I just want to cut it all off again! Post pics for us so I can envy your hair!

Yea probably. I am just not a long hair person. And I feel like if I grow it out for the wedding, I will just cut it again afterwards so what's the point

I am really excited!! I was only growing my hair out for vacation so I could throw it in a ponytail...thinking it would be easy. Well it's not. I hate drying my hair every morning and having hair all on the back of my neck I haven't had it this short in a few years but I am so excited to do it!!!

Alfred Angelo wouldn't hold my dress until the alterations..which was a BIG mistake, because I found someone closer to home who was better and cheaper to do it..and she was ALWAYS available..unlike the in store seamstress who had no evenings...
