I just got back from a quick 2 hours at work.. now I"m off for the rest of the day.. my cousin came down yesterday Kelly for 2 weeks.. were going to get pedicures' at 11am and shopping for the rest of the day.

My mom and I had a blast yesterday! I got 2 new dresses for our June trip, very light and comfy!! I also got Eric a few things (new golf clothes) I got us both a new pair of sunglasses and I got some corningware for the kitchen...to make homemade mac and cheese!!

Nothing exciting for this weekend (cleaning our couch for moving day!). Lauren and I do need to find time to go shopping for her dress though!

I was thinking yesterday about invites and newsletters...how early do I need to send that stuff out?

I wish I didn't have this wedding today we could have gone shopping today before you went down to clean the couch!! I am not working a single night this week (only mornings) so if there is a night you think you will get out on time and you aren't busy we could go then. Otherwise it's gonna be a while I think...

I don't think you send out the invitations until like a month or so before the wedding but you would need to send out something like a Save-the-Date card really soon I would think since it is obviously something people need to make more plans for than a normal wedding. When do you have to block off hotel rooms and stuff?? In the Save-the-Date cards you might need to say you will be sending out a newsletter with more information soon so people know that is coming. We had the majority of our guests flying in from somewhere so we had to do all of this stuff really early too. I think I sent my Save-the-Dates out 9 months ahead. Then we sent another packet of information like a month or two later and even more information in the actual invitation!

I think the invites get sent out sooner than that...I think Disney asks for the RSVP #'s way sooner. And Disney sends out STD's but I don't think it's until we sign the contract...which will be June.

So I think I may have found something for my bouquet. I love that purple calla lily picture but after searching the web for more pics...they don't seem real I am still going to look for some silk ones.

What do you girls think about a carnation bouquet?

Actually, I like the carnations...I hate roses but like the carnations, haha! They are so vibrant! I like the pink one and the one underneath it.

I've never seen a carnation bouquet before. Those are pretty. However, I can not stand the smell of carnations--it reminds me of funeral homes, so for me, carnations definitely wouldn't work for a wedding.
