Am I using Budget rental BCD codes correctly?

I priced out Budget for a Full sized car - Thur pick up at MCO and Sunday drop off at Cape Canaveral and I found when I used the various BCD numbers they all came out to the same price (even when different discounts)which was more than the generic "shop all rates" on the site which the site automatically input as rate code M6 at 5%) I was just surprised. I can't figure out the discount calculation or what this rate code M6 represents. Unlike the National site I can't see where I could enter in the rate code and a BCD code. I also noticed with all of them the M6 code shows all of the time but no percentage discount as seen in the shop all rates search. It just doesn't appear that the discounts are really being applied or are different. What am I missing?

You can only enter one or the other. Remember those discount percentages are "up to x%" not always the max. amount. It appears that you are better off with the "shop all rates" amount.
It also appears that they are not discounting the Walmart and shaws rate. What did you use for the Entertainment rate? The coupon will reduce your rate when you give it to them at the time of rental pickup.
I just ran a "mock" reservation and used the Shaw's code and it came up with a total and stated a 15% discount. The same with your Walmart code. Are you using the BCD button or the rate code button? Try it with the BCD button.

Thank you for the reminder of only up to - I was not thinking of that - however I expected to see at least a discount appear even if it was nominal. I was using the BCD button for all of the codes I used. I was wondering whether cookies from the first shop all rates which made the M6 appear were not allowing the other rates discount to appear? I will try again. I used X443003 on the Entertainment rate.

the percentages showed for me, perhaps your cookies are causing problems.

Do you have a mastercard? Right now on the Budget website under specials click the mastercard logo. Get 20 percent off your rental and a 1 car class upgrade good thru 12/04. If you click thru on the mastercard link it automatically fills in the code for you and then you have to click the coupon link and print the coupon out seperately. Good Luck
