am i getting it right? this pass, for $109, gives me unlimited access to both parks (except during blackout dates), for one full year?

we usually do disney only, but mom is coming and wants to go to us. if the above is correct, then i can maybe swing it!

That is correct. Remember that this pass does not entitle you to any other discounts. If you buy one preferred annual pass, you get hotel discounts and restaurant and merchandise discounts as well as free parking in the parking garages.
