My DF and I will be arriving in orlando on a thursday, hopefully in the afternoon, and that evening we have nothing planned except for going to the hoop de doo musical revue with our family for dinner. I thought from the time we get to the hotel until dinner that night we could relax and meet our guests that are arriving that evening and just enjoy the hotel.

The next day, friday, we are planning on going to Magic Kingdom ... me, DF, my mom, dad, and sister... his sister and her husband and their two young kids, his mom and brother... ok a BIG group of us. My DF is worried that we are going to be too tired for the wedding on saturday morning (at 10 am) if we go to Magic Kingdom the day before. I keep trying to reassure him that we don't have to stay in the park all day long... we can go back to the hotel early.... but he just is really worried about doing too much. :scared:

Do you think I'm pushing too hard and trying to get too much stuff in?

So on Saturday morning we have the wedding at 10 and that evening we are having dinner at Ohana at 5 pm. in between we'll finish pictures with randy but we SHOULD have time between 10 and 5 to relax won't we?

Then sunday we are planning on going to animal kingdom for the day and to bomas for dinner at 5 ish. After dinner we'll have to go back to the room because our flight leaves really early on monday for our honeymoon.

does this sound like I'm trying to pack too much stuff in four days? will there be unforseen things I"ll have to take care of (wedding stuff) that will take away from my time? Does it sound like TOO hectic of a schedule for YOU?

me personally, I can't imagine being at disney and spending all my time in my room!! you know? I wanna get out in those parks even if I'm dead tired by the time we leave for our honeymoon.... but the last time we were at disney, my DF got a little bit of sun stroke or something and felt bad and I think he's worried that's going to happen again and he just wants to RELAX ... but I told him that's what aruba is for! :woohoo:

what do you think?!:confused3

I don't think the schedule is too ambitious. Tell your DF that you want to go to the parks but if at any time he gets tired or doesn't feel well you will go back to the room and relax. Make sure he knows that the plans aren't set in stone and that if you two don't feel like going to a certain park etc. then you will go back and take a rest. Just remember to stop and smell the roses! I am sure it will go by very quickly. Also remember to drink a TON of water. It will be super hot and heat stroke and dehydration will be no fun at all. I am sure you will be able to compromise.

I don't think your schedule looks too hectic. As long as you don't stay all day at MK the day before the wedding. You want to make sure not have a late dinner and to go to bed early so you don't wake up with major bags under your eyes. I know after my first LONG day at a park, my legs are always a little sore in the morning, but that should not be a problem if you don't plan to be on your feet all day.

And after your wedding, you can do whatever you want. It's true, you're at Disney, who wants to be couped up in a room the whole time?

After all, you are going to Aruba :cool2:
