Am I the only who switches resorts dailey??

Man, what a week - I am planning a huge surprise trip for my hubby's 40th birthday and when the Fairytale package became available I jumped and booked up at the Boardwalk for a week in August. Today I decided to save money and switch to the AP rate at the CBR resort - a step down to a moderate but it just looks so beautiful and we've never stayed there before. We don't actually have AP's either but I am planning on buying them with my Disney club discount at our Disney Store. I'm a little worried about not having them when we check in though since the store told me we will get vouchers to redeem them at the park - will the hotel honor the code price with just a voucher? Also, since we've never stayed here before can anyone recommend a nice section that's quiet but not too far away from the action? I can't believe I'm so wishy-washy about making up my mind! I think I did the right thing since with the AP code price for the room we'll still save $382 and end up with AP's for the year.

I also changed my mind on resorts and finally decided on CBR (after changing our minds 4 times). We have been back for about one month.

Loved - the location of our room (Trinadad North Building 33). We were far enough away from things that we felt our area was very private yet it only took us 2-3 minutes to get to the food court and main pool. It was beautiful. The size of the rooms is also wonderful. There is lots of room and storage area. Our room was very clean, in good condition, and our daily maid service was wonderful.

We thought the bus transportation was kind of hit or miss. When we didn't want to wait, we drove our own car. Other times, we sat and waited for the bus. Once we got to know the general schedule they ran it was fine.

HATED - very opinionated about this - the Custom House! Checking in was a nightmare and we waited in line a long time (over 1 hour). Guest services there was also horrible. We were better off avoiding the area as much as possible.

We have mixed feelings about going back to that resort. We loved our room, loved the feel of the resort and the theming. However, we remember the poor service of the Custom House more than anything else there. If we could avoid the Custom House we would go back there in a minute.

If you want to be near the food court then I recommend Trinidad North or Martinique. I think all the villages are pretty quiet.

If you check in around the normal check in time you will most likely encounter long lines.
