I made my FP+ yesterday and keep going over it and wondering if I should change some of them. I spent a lot of time deciding which ones I wanted and what park I would be at and which park I would hop to on any given day. Now I keep going over the FP+ and wondering if I should change some. Very frustrating doing this 60 days from your vacation.

Yes of course. Why do you think there are so many complaints about FP+. Picking a ride 60 days out is like trying to decide what color underwear I will wear.

Do a Goggle search for "Buyer's Remorse."

You aren't the only one!!! Settling on one touring plan/FPs is hard for me. I keep changing my mind and my 60 day isn't for a couple months. What is making it worse is I am going to bring some other MBs and get SDFPs. I'm not going to rely on these extra FPs but still will get some to try and save some time.

I decided not to obsess over them. Growing up, there wasn't any such thing as fast passes and we managed to enjoy ourselves. So I still look at the FP system as a bonus. I made a general plan and if things change, it won't ruin my vacation. It's pretty much impossible to plan everything out perfectly in advance, so my advice is to try not to overthink it.

Nope, usually don't even make them until a couple of days before I get there, like Kobey I've been going since before FP so standing in line is no big deal. I don't make ADRs in advance either, just to to GS the morning of and ask what they have and go from there.

You're not the only one! If you're a planner, up until this point, you've been studying and booking lodging options, meals, learning FP strategies and planning those and suddenly. . . . Nothing. . . You're done, but it's not time to leave yet! Hard to keep from obsessing and fiddling with details.

I haven't done it yet. But I can see feeling that way. I often get new information and tweak things in our vacation planning. I doubt this will be different. It just could end up being that I can't make changes.

My daughter gets sick sometime, every time we go, and plans on those days just go out the window. Water park planned days with storm predictions...again, have to change. I preferred the old system, but this is what it is.

...The one thing I can say is, since you are park hopping, do consider that it could be beneficial to make choices in your second park of the day, rather than your first...if you are going at rope drop, and attractions don't seat many attendees at a time in your second park.

I did my FP+ 60days out. I'm now 30 days away from my trip and I'm constantly second guessing some choices. Last night a midnight DH and I were thinking about changing some times. I drive myself insane over fast passes and ADRs.

I dreaded it, and obsessed, as you describe, about correct choices, better strategies. Changed them around a zillion times, and not in a fun way -- in an "OMG I feel like I night have just ruined vacation" way. But I found that after a couple of trips I was able to accept it better (mentally). I'm never going to like it as much as traditional FP. (Never.) But I'm getting past the stress. The first hurdle for me (YMMV) was accepting that stuff's going to go off track, and not being a slave to the FP+. Now I try to emphasize the positives: you can sleep a little later if you want and still hit a headliner with less park time, you can show up at Epcot in the late afternoon and do Soarin, you can do more on arrival day with some confidence that you can hit E rides.

I'm sure you're not the only one, but, me, I'm pretty chill about it. Soon as my window opes, I have an enjoyable morning making my fastpass selections and dreaming about my upcoming trip. Then, once they're done, the only time I ever look at them again is when I want to feel a sense of satisfaction at a job well done.

But, I think this is because we have quite a few trips under our belts, and I know exactly what I want in each park. Also, I've never been especially susceptible to buyers remorse - I tend not to second guess my decisions. (Overconfidence is a personality trait that's occasionally bitten me in the rear.)

You have my sympathies!

^^^THIS^^^

Makes me and my whole family crazy. Between the ADRs and the FPs I think they are already sick of hearing about "The Trip". In the beginning they participated with me in the excitement of planning, now we are at "whatever you want to do". So yep, it's like I'm all dressed up and no where to go for another 2 months.

I was the exact same way, but not because I felt Disney planning is stressful - because I enjoy it! Note that YOU are the only person thinking that you, personally, should be making adjustments. You sound like a perfectionist. So, if this is causing you anxiety, remember that you have the power to change that by simply stepping away from the MDE app :)

I stayed up each night for a week to make our FP. We had two MK days, our first one was a RD day. We got soo much done that morning that by the end of the day we had already ridden all of the rides we had a FP on our second day. My children did not want to re-ride any of them so one night that week (MK was our first and last days) I changed them all to something different. All of that effort to stay up a month ago was washed away by a simple click of the button but its all good. We had a great vacation with very minimal waits for almost everything. There are worse things than having to change FP because we already walked on the rides with no lines just a little ironic. I think it is beneficial to keep thinking and potentially changing but it is a fine line between obsessing and making yourself crazy. It is not worth making yourself crazy over (especially when there is the ability, although sometimes limited, to change on the fly).

I love planning the fp. I don't stress over it though. As long as I get a cheesecake or cherry cobbler at POR at the end of the day I'm good. If my plans fall through or I don't get what I want at 60 days at least I can wait in line.

I made mine last night, and then made a few changes this morning. I sat there with my touring plans plans and shuffled things around. In fact, I have a few ideas now and might shuffle things again this evening for our arrival day.

I made my selections last week and I was so excited leading up to the big moment and then...I blanked, I didn't know what to do. I thought I knew what selections I wanted but I changed them in the end and went with what I knew the boys enjoyed. I really want to just enjoy this trip and take it all in as I think this will be it for a number of years.
My kids also don't know we are going and while I don't want to wish the summer away...hurry up September!!
Maybe go back once a week and just look to see and perhaps you may end up changing some and honestly, that is okay.

Step away from MDE and don't second guess until you are closer to your trip. Make adjustments only if you have made a change in your plans such as finding out park hours are extended or changing an ADR. Often changes can be made a day or two ahead of the actual FP+ (depending on the attraction). I understand your concerns. My trips are on a spreadsheet and I look at them often. I resisted the urge to change FP+. While at WDW, I made very few changes but did just skip some of the FP+ since we had already ridden and were a little bored with the attraction already.

^^^ What she said! Or as my dear old Mum used to say " STOP fiddling with that!" :P

Resist the urge to change things and just go with your first instincts. If something about the trip changes, then go back and make whatever alterations are necessary. In the mean time, relax with the knowledge that all your plans are made
