Hello all this may sound strange but does any one else like the smell of $ I was very excited yesterday I got my holiday spends and the first thing I did was smell the money I love it . So come on anyone please tell me that other people give it a sniff and I dont need to get professional help

I love the smell too! When I went to collect my dollars the lady in the shop says its her least favourite to count because she hates the smell and the feel of them and that they stick together.

I bought some cash on Friday and sat on my bed sniffing my cash for a good while

No it's not weird at all. Those crisp new greenbacks have a very distinctive fragrance. Smell is the most rewarding sense of all, it is very undervalued

That's so funny. Our $$ arrived yesterday and they were all new notes and the first thing I did was comment to DH how much I love the smell.

Haha! my OH thinks I'm weird! I love the smell, I have some stashed away so the kids don't find them and every now and again I'll get them out and have a sniff! Cheers me up no end

DH bought me a Puzzler magazine at the weekend as a treat as I'm a bit unwell at the minute and housebound. It smells SO much like holiday as this is the first time I've ever had one that wasn't bought at the airport on the way to somewhere hot and lovely.

hehe I love the smell of $'s as well, usually have to break them out of the drawer every few weeks for a sniff

I bought some dollars the other day for our trip beginning in two days time, the first thing I do when I get home is sit on the floor get each note and scrunch it into a ball, making a big heap of notes. I then flatten them back into a pile of notes.
I have done this every year since I handed over $110 instead of $10 and never realised until too late as the new notes tend to stick together.
