I hope Im not the only nutty one but for the past few nights i have been waking up (a few times per night) and thinking about those darn ADRs that i have to make on Tuesday:scared1: . It is really giving me such anxiety and i just cant wait to get it over with. Its a shame that something like a dinner reservation has to be a cause of frustration & anxiety. If all goes well and i get the reservations i want I am actually thinking about celebrating Tuesday night.

I felt the same way, and I just made mine- it went as smooth as silk!

arilvdc, im glad everything worked out for you. i am hoping i am one of the lucky ones that all goes smoothly and worried for nothing.

Robandkelly, i know what you mean after the reservations are made i WILL be so excited that i probably wont sleep either thinking about the trip. i always get like that before my vacations. This one even more so because i havent been to Disney since i was a kid 30+ years ago.

I called around 3pm when I made my ADRS, and the whole process took about 25 minutes (I only made 4 reservations). I was immediately connected. I had called that morening, and held for 30+ minutes, and then was told the system was down, which is why I had to call back. The CMs I have gotten each time I've called have all been really nice. If you're nice to them, talk to them like they're people too, then they'll work with you.

Good luck!

:wizard: I read all the horror stories here about being put on hold forever so I was really prepared the day I called. I started calling at 6:57 AM, got through after a few tries (office was still closed) was on hold 3 mins. and got everything I wanted. I wouldn't stress out, but I would know exactly what I want and put them in priority order. We weren't able to book Spoodles because they're closing so decided on Teppan Edo...called randomly yesterday afternoon and got exactly what I wanted. Don't stress!!! This supposed to be fun!

I just booked this morning and I agree with pervious posters, get on early and keep hitting redial, call a couple of times today and listedn to the prompts and know what to say or what button to hit so you do not have to listen to the whole speil. I did that this morning and was conected right to a CM, no wait, just one ring. I got all that I was asking for even Sci Fi, Cinderella's Breakfast, O'hana, Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's, off the phone in 22 minutes.
I think you can stop worrying.

I woke up early this morning and told my DH that I was having dining nightmares!! I too am very anxious about the ADR's I can't make until Thursday. I feel like I'm getting ready for a big test or performance and need to get it just right. I keep telling myself that it's free dining and even if I can't get what I want it's no big deal, but I still feel the pressure to come through with everyone's requests. Good Luck to you. I know everyone had a horrible time yesterday, but it seems better today.

What buttons do you have to hit to avoid all that? I'm just wondering, I don't have to make my ADR's for another month but I'm trying to prepare myself now! My friend tried to do her ADR's yesterday and apparently it was a nightmare...she was on hold for 45 minutes, then was on the phone with a CM for another 30 minutes, only to find out that everything she wanted was booked except for Chef Mickey's, so she's pretty bummed. :(

This is so funny, because I woke up this morning thinking about ADRs!! I was trying to arrange (well, rearrange) them in my head, plan more back-ups, etc. My DH thinks I am insane!! I make mine two weeks from Tuesday (6/9). I am hoping that I can relax and just get excited after that!

I would try this for yourself before your ADR day, it only takes a minute and you hang up before you get a CM so you are not making the wait any longer for anyone else, what I did was
Dial 1-407-939-3463
As soon as you hear the lady dial 0
when she talks again say NO (this is the question about booking VandA)
When you hear "Remain on the line" Dial 2
When you hear "listen carefully" Dial 1
Please try it for yourself because it may be different for you and I don't want to slow anyone down.
Don't worry, it will be fine.
Christine

Wow. All you have to do is push 1 or 2 buttons. Max. Try calling an insurance company as a provider, and this ADR booking stuff is a breeze. Please don't stress, it's just food! :hippie:

Tuesday is my day too! I guess we're in the same boat -- or competition for one another :rotfl:

Tuesday's a school day, and I generally wake ds up at 7:30. (He needs to be at school at 8, and it's around the corner.) I am seriously going to take him to school late if I'm not wrapped up by 7:30 (which of course is likely to be the case.) :rolleyes1

Good luck to you. I hope you get everything you want!

Tuesday is my day too..I can go to work a little late, hopefully if I start at 7:00am..it won't take too long. I hate to admit it, but I am very nervous. I am willing to be flexible, but I am stressed:eek: Good luck everyone!!

My 90-day mark was last Saturday. I called early & hit redial 'til someone answered. It was seriously less than 5 mins, but that was b4 free dining calls!
Had no problem getting everything I wanted. It just took long to get all of the ADRs I wanted....but we got them all. I am a teacher, and one of my colleagues called on Tuesday for her ADRs. She was immediately told that she would be on hold for 30+ minutes. She was still on hold when she got to school at 8 a.m. Shortly thereafter, they answered the phone....but she was still on when the kids came into her classroom at 8:30!! She made 4 reservations & then got off as the kids were coming in!

Oh you better believe that if im on hold still at 8:10, my daughter is going to school late (it will be her only time late the whole school year), i dont care:cool1:

Oh and thanks for the prompt information & phone #, i have printed it out and will be doing a test run tonight:rotfl:

About a week before I made my ADR's, I woke up and actually thought - I don't need breakfast since we just had all that Disney food. :lmao: It is definitely consuming my mind! I told DH I wouldn't look at the restaurants any more, and last night, 47 days out, I changed 3 of them! :rotfl:

This really IS all because of the new 90 day booking window. This would have been SO much less stressful if they left it at 180. Heck, I'd even settle for 120 long about now...........

My day is still over a month away. I've been waiting anxiously for over 2 months now. There are people who STILL haven't even decided to book a trip who will decide between now and my date in June, only to STILL compete with me for ADR's I want..........

This is making me crazy. I can't wait till Friday comes so I can get mine done.:scared1:
