Am I the only one who makes all the ADRs at 180 days out then spends the next 179 days looking at restaurants and thinking Hmmm I quite fancy eating there.
It's like an addiction or a compulsion or a sickness. Every time I check a food review or mention oh that looks nice I'm now met with the deep breathing eye rolling other half. I seriously think she wants to throttle me sometimes.
We are on the dining plan so we have 15 table service credits, everything is booked and ready but I keep looking.
So do any of you do the same thing or is it in fact just me ? :goodvibes

Nope you are not alone!
I always know where we are going to eat at the 180 day mark and book my adr's.. then I spend my time wondering whether i picked the right places and looking at dining reviews and menu's!

they usually end up changed a LOT of times before we actually go :rotfl:

We had 21 TS credits each to use for next months trip. Booked at 180+10 but changed quite a few after. Hopefully we have them all sorted now.

Well iv just cancelled all mine for the trip I had to cancel in august but my mom is gonna come aand we are loking at mid sept as flights come down a bit.
Now have to see whats left. Not a case of what I want im afraid as less than 3 months.SUre we will get something:confused3Hope so

Good luck I hope you get everything you want, and on a positive note I've found all ADRs easy to come by since we could book them online plus it costs nothing to keep trying, and the addition of the 10 dollar deposit/cancellation charge should make it a bit easier.

I would love to have 21 TS credits lol, even then I'd probably end up booking 25 ADRs, so far we've booked 16 meals and one of them is cindies so we've at least 2 OOP , not to mention the walk ups we have planned at some of the quieter places like Olivia's . The 2 OOP will probably be Olivias breakfast and a Plaza lunch cause they are quite cheap.

we usually find ressies easy to get in september as it's usually fairly quiet. if you can't get adr it's always worth trying a walk up. a few times we have been in september and no adr's were available but we were able to get walk ups :confused3

i do this all the time DH just looks at me like I'm nuts. He leaves me to do all the planning but he does make suggestions based on the menus.

I have looked at moving a couple of mine but I think if I start doing that I will just tie myself in knots trying to sort it out.

I think given that we are all members on here shows what type A planners we are.

I do it too...so does DBF! ADR's are probably the only thing he gets involved with :lmao:

So glad you can go, hope you get the ADR's you want.:cheer2:

I have booked most of mine but have still got to decide on 3. I would love the 'Be Our Guest' restaurant or Hoop de Doo, but those seem unlikely. I keep wondering about the times I have booked. Most of the table service meals are booked for 5.00pm. I'm assuming we might have to wait to be seated and I can imagine my kids being hungry by then, but I have never been before so this is all guess-work!

I have graduated from studying the DDP menus and now scrutinise the cocktails too.:rotfl:

I'm doing that! I keep an eye on the disney food blog website and that's so tempting!!! Glad I'm not alone :lmao:

Just out of interest, if we are there for 14 nights on the DDP do we get 15 days worth of meals? I can't remember from last time!

Debs x

No, you get the same as nights booked, 14 nights gets 14 days of DDP.

I have my set where I want to go but those um Im not sure about are always being changed and I check every day to contemplate changing times even if I got the time I originally wanted 180 days is a long time to decided where and when you are eating

not even booked for next year yet but already planning where we are gonna eat. :thumbsup2

Help please!!! we're heading to WDW at the beginning of August. We have the DDP. However I've read somewhere that you get 1 snack and 2 counter service meals but DH has read that you get 1 snack, 1 counter service and 1 table service meal each. Any money DH is right!! lol :rotfl2:

Oh another thing is it best to ADR or not?

DDP is one snack, one counter service, one table service and one refillable cup. I think the quick service dining plan is 1 snack/2 cs meals.

The general opinion is that it is best to book ADR's if you are going at a busy time. They charge $10 pp for no-shows now, so you need to cancel if you don't want your reservation.
