When is a person in training and doing events no longer a newbie? I've been doing this almost three years now and so far have done two Halfs, TOT, two Minnies and six 5Ks and I still feel pretty new at this.
Are you no longer a newbie after so many miles? After you've done events and have the bling to prove it? After you've logged 9000 hours on the E/C Forum?

Well said Carrie, I agree!

I'm still a newbie with only 1 event under my belt and I look forward to being an experienced runner/walker.
I guess I know enough to get me from the start to the finish line, eh?
How sweeeeeet!
Fresh? Me???? Nahhhhh.
Grrrrr. (Actually, it's hysterical!)
