Looking at a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas next summer. When I go to select stateroom, for instance, ocean view verandah, it only shows about 10-12 available. Are they already that much booked up??

On the DCL website, they only show 8 rooms/room category/ship section, starting on the port side. Once the port side is sold out, they start showing the starboard rooms. If you use a TA or call DCL, they can get you a starboard side room if you want, or tell you if a particular room # is available if it's not showing on the website.

It also depends upon the size of your party, if you have 5 in your room, there are fewer rooms that hold that many people--so they'll only show you rooms for that # of people.

The DCL website only shows a few rooms available at a time. It does not mean it is sold out or that is only what is available. IMHO it is weird.

Call in to inquire about exact cabin availability. More is typically available that what shows up online. The exception is if you see fewer than 8 cabins highlighted. That typically means those exact cabins are all that is left from that deck location & category.
