Am I Pathetic? Listen to this Compliment...

My brother just got engaged New Years to a woman who has two small girls. They decided for winter break they would all go to Disney. They came to me for all their planning needs because according to them I have a "PHD in all Things Disney." They left on their WDW vacation this morning with the kids as well.

I thought it would be sweet to make the girls little bags filled with all girlie princessey toys, books, pens... Just an adorable assortment of fun things. I really took my time and made them attractive inside as well as the packaging outside, just so you get the idea .

Well, my brothers Fiance called me to thank me and was gushing about how perfect the treat bags were and how sweet it was of me and on and on... and then the compliment came... "Oh Emmy, you are our real live walking talking Disney Princess and we have you for our own !"

YOU WOULD OF THOUGHT SHE SAID I WAS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF HEATHER LOCKLEAR . I literally blushed and stammered and thanked her over and over for comparing me to a Disney Princess. I was all goofy (no pun) and embarrassed. What the heck?? I am 41 years old, could I be that pathetic? I mean seriously, we are talking about a make believe character here folks, who I might mention didn't win a Noble Prize, find a cure for some ill, or even win an election and I am flustered and proud!! I mean I actually was proud!! Proud to be compared to a Disney Princess and come out looking pretty good... Am I sad or what
