Am I officially an owner now?

I just got a letter that stated that my deed was recorded on March 24, 2005. Does this mean I am now an official owner?

If your deed has already been recorded, you are officially a member.

If you have not already done so, call MS and ask if you are in the DVC computer - that will usually occur within a week of closing and means you will be able to make reseravations immediately.
