Am I nuts???

The local (yeah, 1 hour away!) Disney Catalog Outlet/Distribution Center is having a tent sale tomorrow(Saturday) billed as the "Biggest Disney Tent Sale Ever". Kids clothes-$3, Adult clothes-$5, luggage-$5-$15, nothing over $25. I spoke to a former CM from a Disney Store today, and she said it is HUGE-hundreds of people come for the bargains. It starts at 7:00. I am considering getting up at 4:00 (that's a.m., folks!) to drive for an hour and wait in line for 2 hours. Am I outta my mind??? Would you do it? I am a sucker for a sale, especially Disney.. Somebody talk me out of it!!

All I can say is it I lived anywhere near there, I would go in a heartbeat. (But that being said, I always think the people who wait outside my work on the day after Thanksgiving are nuts for doing so. However that also has to do with the weather and the fact that we really don't have anything that great on sale.) This sale truly sounds great, hmmm, how long would it take me to get there? Sorry, I can't think of a good reason to talk you out of it.

I sorta knew that in the back of mind... Maybe I should consider getting up at 3:00!!

OK, Wendyl, get me outta trouble here by telling us all the wonderful things you bought. (Spartanburg is only 12 miles from the Tent Sale, it said! Lucky you....)

I wimped out, folks. DH and I had theatre tickets for Friday night and didn't get the kids to bed until 11:30. I turned the alarm off before I went to bed. So sad, I feel like I let you all down....Sorry.. I had decided that if I didn't go early, I wasn't going at all.(being an all-or-nothing sort of person.) I was sort of afraid of driving for an hour in the dark through some places I was unfamiliar with at 4:00 a.m., and plus it was supposed to rain. I know, excuses, excuses, excuses... So instead, I slept in, then took DS4 and DS6 to Home Depot for their Saturday Craft, and it was... a "Disney" planter with "Tigger Lilies" to plant in it! They got a really cute apron with Mickey all over it. So I got a little Disney fix.. Plus my Disney Catalog came the other day, so I am figuring the money I saved in driving...........



p.s. to Mishetta.. I used to live in Trenton, MI. Without kids to slow you down, it took 11 and 1/2 hours to get to Greenville. Add on another hour to get to the tent sale...Maybe next year.(for both of us)
