I posted a thread to find out what happened to the DISer Sonno - I read that he was banned. But my post got deleted.

I was subscribing to a thread started by Sonno, about Disney special effects - and now that thread has has about 14 pages deleted from it. It was actually a really good thread that I wanted to access some info from. This is really odd.

Lorelai, instead of posting this publicly (especially in a forum dedicated to park attractions & strategies), why don't you just PM a moderator?

Thanks. How do I do that? Will they be able to help me access the info from the thread? I want to recover a few of the special effects explanations?

I honestly don't know what they can and cannot help you access...but to PM a mod, just scroll down to the bottom of the forum page and it will list all the mods for this particular forum (if the thread was in another forum, go to that one and scroll to the bottom of the page). Click on a name and it will take you to their profile. From there, you can send them a message (it'll be in the "contact info" section of their profile).

Thanks for the help. I initially posted my question in this particular forum because it is where the thread originated. It was quite a lengthy (& popular) thread, so it seemed likely that someone would know what happened to it. I will ask a moderator if the info can be accessed.
