Am I losing it?

Did there used to be a theme park attached to the Grand Ole Opry called Opryland? I swear when I was younger I went there, but I can't find anything about it on the internet? I think I am losing it..........

Yes, I worked at Opryland when I was in college back in 1995. It was a great little amusement park with some cool rides. They tore it down a few years ago to build Opry Mills, the HUGE outlet mall.

Wow!!! I didn't know this!!!

I lived in Nashville for one summer...almost got a job at Opryland. Had a couple of fun days there...

I miss Opryland Park!!! It was a great theme park and now it is nothing but a MALL!

I hated it when they closed Opryland. But I have to confess that I do enjoy shopping in OpryMills Mall.

It was a great park. I visited it in '84, and coaster and rapids ride conneseurs that my dad, sister and I were, we deemed it the best rapids. We loved the 'bobsled ride" that was popular at the time. At Great Adventure, it was the Sarejevo Bobsled, dunno what Opryland called it.

Um, Opryland has been closed for YEARS. The Opry Mills mall is there now. It's pretty cool.
