It's Disney's version of a timeshare. You purchase points instead of a fixed week (but there are two resorts that do offer fixed weeks).

Best way to find out about DVC is to read these boards and if you find you have a more specific question, post it.

The best place to look for general info on renting is on our DVC Rent/Trade Board, specifically follow the informative links you'll find in the **How to Use this Board** thread.

A general reminder that you can post specifics about renting, such as dates, resort location, etc. only as part of rental request that is posted into an existing "Points for Rent" thread on the Rent/Trade board.
