Just trying to decide the best/most economical way to proceed WHEN the codes come out for Feb. I know past history hasn't had free dining for Feb. but when I was comparing the difference between a room-only discount vs. the dining plan, it seems that as long as we would be spending more on food than we would be saving per night, the FD is better. (ex. we are staying at POP, 2 rooms -myself, DH, DS14, DS12, DD8, AAA rate of $69/room/night I think. Savings of about $15/night/room so if we spend more than $30 for our family a day on food, FD would easily be the way to go. That seems too easy but am I thinking right? :confused3

Would the same hold true then for Park Hoppers? If getting them and the water park admissions free would save us more than $30 a day, that would be a better deal, right?

Thanks a bunch!!

If you have two or more kids and are staying at a value, then Free dining is almost always the better discount. I would not count on the FD promo though, maybe the 40% discount off the room.

As far as park tickets, if they upgraded you to hoppers with the water parks and more option, I believe that would save you about $500 on your package (which is the cost of the upgrade). If that's not right, I'm sure someone will correct me.
